I always prefer to watch it uninterrupted first time, then go back and watch it again for a breakdown with my thoughts. This music is an emotional, visual and auditory story that's being told, and even the smallest changes in sound and texture will turn the story in such a significant way that if you pause it, you'll lose it. So yeah, watch once without and pausing so you can get fully immersed, then again to give your thoughts throughout. That being said, I loved what y'all had to say, loved the reaction and definitely subbed. I look forward to seeing more. Much love

@Daroff that is a great idea and we have actually considered that at one point but we get soooo many comments complaining about how long our videos are if we did a run thru and then commentary on it our video would be over a half hour and as it is we find ourselves pushing a half hour on most of them because we usually do a Bar of the Day at the end. That is why we have started doing full song breakdowns on our patreon, for people that actually want to spend the time listening to lyric interpretation and what not. On top of that the copy right laws are so strict, risking an uninterrupted play through of a copyright would risk taking our video out of the fair use guidelines that keep us able to cover music we don’t own. We are required by law to transform the original video/song from it’s original version. Lol there is a lot to it, so we just enjoy it and give a genuine first time reaction, whatever that may be, which is different on every song. Some get more stops than others, it just depends on how into we are. Thanks for the suggestion and the comment! Much Love!

As for copyright laws, when it comes to Falling in Reverse specifically, Ronnie Radke owns the rights to all of his music and has given full permission to anyone wanting to stream it or react to it without any issue of copyright, and if it does get marked just send them the video of him saying that himself. You can find it online easy enough. It's another reason why I love that dude so much as an artist. Again, thanks for the genuine reaction!

@@DaroffApFire yeah we still get copyright claims on all of our Falling in Reverse video we do and even if we could do that for just one or two artists we would never be able to do that for all of them. Heck some videos get completely blocked until we get the copyrights cleared lol it’s crazy but I understand the rights holders argument at the same time, I firmly believe their should be some difference in another video if they are using your material otherwise everyone would just be able to go to that other persons page/platform and consume what you spent a ton of time and effort creating. So it’s kind of a double edged sword. However we don’t hate on this channel so we are trying to push a positive narrative here and hopefully others will catch that vibe. People can Review and be nice lol if it isn’t someone’s cup of tea, then don’t cover that person or band simply give an honest but respectful response and move along. We hope rights holders will see that as well and understand when we cover a band/artist or song we will not be negatively impacting their original work. But that is why we are doing a whole thing over on our patreon, it will give us a bit more freedom and time on songs that are especially amazing like this one lol thanks for the convo, and thanks for being respectful, you rock! Wow we really appreciate the kind words. Brit and I would decipher lyrics and metaphors for fun on date nights ever since we first got together over a decade ago, so we thought it would be fun to do it with like minded people and hopefully get to hear their interpretations of some of the new music we discover. Seeing the difference another person can get from a song that is the same thing another just heard but took completely different is fascinating. I feel like taking the time to actually feel the artists lyrics/music and see how I can relate/decipher is the least we can do as fans of music. This was a fun, well thought out reaction. First time watching your channel, hope to see more in the future.

To be honest I discovered this song a little while ago and can't believe it escaped my radar for so long! 😂My favorite #BOTD is: "The pain and sorrow, left us hollow. Here today, but gone tomorrow.", it might be referencing 2 totally different things for me. It can talk mainly about pain and sorrow (that can be escaped from, through various means), but it can also talk about people themselves. The imagery in this video pushes me into the second option, becuase we see many people that are having their souls literally sucked up by smartphones, other technologies and we see opened laptop fall on the ground. That would mean, that whoever was using this laptop, he/she overused it and died. I know it's horrific explanation of what is showed there, but that's how I understand it. 💀Great reaction! 😃

Disney also owns Star Wars as of 2012. The imagery is of the First Order as seen in The Force Awakens (2015). Thereby, Darth + Disney + the imagery would most likely be pointing at the Disney 'empire' (ESPN, HULU, FOX, ABC, National Geographic, ... ...) and using it as allegory for him taking over as Disney has been taking over media. So, "Into the darkness, Into infinity" (and not beyond) is probably not related to toy story at all.

Well actually what I was saying is I love seeing people from different genres mesh it with hip hop. Hip Hop is one of the most widely accepted forms of music, now, but as I was stating, when I did HipHop that wasn’t the case. Metal and Rock and Pop was ruling the music scene. We were actually told after we made this video that a lot of it was directed towards Sebastian Bach, former lead singer of Skid Row. Apparently he had openly criticized Ronnie for canceling a couple of dates of his tour due to the theft of a couple of his laptops and allegedly Sebastian said something to the effect of "if you have to use laptops on stage your not a real musician".... OR so we were told, which is why in the video is shows a laptop squishing the person... anyway just thought Id pass of what we had learned. But you are 100% correct with your comment as far as the cancel culture and how people in the public eye are def dropping like flies due to past posts and what not. Much Love

Even if he isn't a MASTER of multiple genres, his ability to switch between them with ease and with great skill is a mastery in and of itself. 1. It’s common knowledge if you use the word “mansplains” twice in the same comment you automatically lose 10points off you IQ… 2. Try to focus harder the next time you comment so people can actually understand what the heck your babbling about. 3. If you want to hear the song in its entirety without interruption the. It’s probably not the best choice to go to a REACTION/COMMENTARY channel to watch it… just saying. When someone is doing a first time reaction with commentary then common sense would imply that there will be pauses lol and yes the pause button is all mine! 😈 the next toast is to you! Cheers!

There is about a half second delay from us watching the video to the recording. If you listen closely you can hear the music still playing from our headphones for a split second after we stop it. Trust me she can move her head just fine 😝

I don't see any plausible justification for so many pauses in a row. Too tiring, impossible to watch. Which is a shame because you guys seem to be really nice.

They're just speaking their mind in excitement. I actually like that they talk about these things, it's far more fun than watching other reactors just headbang and open their mouth in each thumbnail like they're ready to endure the biggest load of their life 😂. It's longer, but to me more fun, they're such a vibe

@@KrisMIW91 I don't mind the pauses or crazy reactions, even if they are often forced reactions or just to make the video last 10 minutes. But in this case it was very exaggerated, practically pauses every 15 seconds. But in this case it was worse for me, because they have a really badass vibe. Videos like this in general I don't watch, but as I loved their vibe I gave a constructive criticism.

@Coruja The Justification of pauses is easily explained, we are a commentary channel and with that you will get comments. Can we pause it a lot in some of our videos? Absolutely, but as the creators of the content we produce on this channel we won’t ever sacrifice our integrity by being or acting some way that we wouldn’t actually be. When you come to this channel you get it real and raw, our videos aren’t meant for people to come in and jam out to, you can go support the artist and watch their original video for that, we include the links in the description. You may see other “reactors” simply watch the video and say wow that’s awesome or talk all over the artist, that’s them, and they are most likely trying to make short form content and that is totally fine for them, but that is not at all what we do on this channel. We understand what we do isn’t for everyone and are totally fine with that. “Constructive Criticism” can’t be given when authenticity is what is produced, but thank you for watching and thanks for the comment. @@TheNEWReel I disagree with you, it is perfectly possible for you to maintain your excellence or authenticity by pausing less often. Even for a better flow, picking up a song and pausing it is bad enough because it breaks the whole vibe. And this thing ( if you want to watch without pause, just watch the original ) is a great excuse for not even thinking that there is a better way to do something both for those who are producing and for those who are watching. Obviously you don't care about comments like his or mine, as many don't seem to care about how you do it. There are things that work for some and not for others, and if you have an audience that only praises and doesn't criticize, that's great! But, we're not wrong for noticing something that could be better and pointing it out to you. It's a matter of humility and empathy! The question is not the pause itself, but the excess that breaks the vibe of the music at all times, would it be that if you were listening to your favorite songs on Spotfy and every 15 seconds the music was paused for some comment and advertisement you would you like? Obviously they are different things, but it doesn't hurt to reduce the pauses a little to maintain better continuity and not break the vibe at all times. mush love

Why don’t reactors watch the video and then do the breakdown? It literally kills the buildups and you miss soo much by stopping and starting. Music is not designed to be stop started. I watch because I want to see other people react to awesomeness, but not interested in 10 minutes of talk in between a 3 minute song. Good luck on your channel guys but pausing kills it for me. ✌️

That is a great question and I have no problem answering when someone asks a respectful question like you did instead of just bringing hate or negativity. It’s really pretty simple, as Reactors we don’t own the copyrights to the music and or videos we are reacting to. The copyright act has a sort of “loophole” that allows people that do reactions/reviews/commentary to use their material as long as it stays within the “Fair Use” guidelines - in order to do that you are required to TRANSFORM the original work from something other than what it was. Meaning - we can’t just play the song straight through or have just the video playing without interrupting for commentary/reactions/reviews if we were to do this we could have our channel shut down, the video blocked, or even be sued by the rights holder. Some channels that are able to do something of That nature either have permission from the rights holders or are extremely lucky that they haven’t been caught or blocked by KZread or the owners of the work. Every video we do gets a copyright claim just for having a few seconds of copyright material within it, then we have to dispute that claim by showing how we have transformed our video from the original to prove we are within the Fair Use guidelines which is actually a 30 - 45 day process for each video, this is wether we try to monetize or not. Other than that we classify ourselves as a Commentary channel, we like to talk about the music here and do breakdowns of the lyrics and things of that nature. We understand what we do isn’t for everyone and we are ok with that. Hope this explains a little - thanks for watching either way- Much Love

@lieut oh and I forgot to add, we don’t miss anything when we start and stop that is why most reactor will skip back several seconds after every stop to make sure they catch the full play through from the moment they paused. Thanks again!

Go watch the artists video if you want it uninterrupted! If we don’t pause we get copyright strikes. Gotta understand the game before you play. Lol actually My first concert ever was Metallica the Black album, I was a Huge AC/DC fan as well as megadeath panterra sabbath etc but when I hit the age of about 14 I started listening to hip hop and then starting writing producing and engineering in my own studio at the age of 19 for about a decade. We both love all kinds of music but hip hop seems to be what I know best as I spent a decade of my early adult life immersed in it lol but yeah I kind of have the “hip hop” head bob engrained in me now lol thanks for watching! Haven't seen anybody call him a saint. Also. Ronnie has pretty much paid and apologized for his past behavior and is simply trying to move on and do what he loves which is make music yet we have people like you that can't let a person move on from something they did 7+ years ago that has no relevance to today. Especially when half the things he was accused of ended up being dropped. And he wasn't popular enough at the time to even throw it under the rug so saying he used his influence is not an excuse when a lot of people don't even like him enough to throw him a bone in a situation like that. We get it, you don't like Ronnie and more power to you, but don't ruin everyone else's fun and enjoyment of good music because you can't move on and insist on constantly airing out dirty laundry

I dunno man. Past sins will always haunt me, but im more interested in who I can be today and tomorrow rather than my mistakes of the past and I use that same view with others. People change every day, I know I do, so why not someone else? If you can't let his mistakes go then that's fair. However, try to be a tad less judgemental about those who can.
