Hip Hop dancer, Kyoka, ventured out of her comfort zone to learn the essence of Shorinji (also known as Shaolin) Martial Arts. For 3 days, she trained with a renowned Kung Fu Master of “Drunken Boxing” to learn the wild, flowy but deadly movements. Watch her journey and witness the fruits of her training as she incorporates Drunken Boxing into her own Hip Hop Street Dance style.

Kyoka is so freaking awesome, more content with her please. She could be in a kung fu movie as well as being a dancer. Can't wait to see what she does in the future.

Did you get to videotape all of your 3 days worth of instruction and drilling? If you did, based on your aptitude you can probably refine all the nuances on your own over the next few years. It doesn’t look like they were holding anything back or altering forms to limit your progress on your own. Very generous of them. This looks like the parkour of shaolin.

I’m pretty sure the Japanese translation is incorrect. That is not 少林寺(拳法). It should be 少林拳. They are often confused. Cool video though!
