I was in that crowd at Download in 2009, and have seen them multiple other times in arenas/festivals. Can confirm. Dude keeps the crowd in the palm of his hand the entire time. Hell, the entire band does to be fair.

Unlike the other commenter who gave them a zero because they hate Slipknot with all their heart.. I give them a 10 and LOVE them!! Please check out some other Slipknot songs like "Nero Forte", "Dead Memories", "Sulfer and Corey taylor (the singer) doing "Snuff" Live to start. There's so much more to this band than just masks and what ppl see on a very surface level only.

@@chavo8989 personally I can appreciate all music as long as it’s actual music… meaning more of og rap rather than the computer generated bullshit that is prevalent in today’s rap especially and many other more mainstream genre’s.

Great reaction! I'll leave a little info on the group just to help you guys get started. They have 9 members in total, although only 6 of the original 9 are still in the group. (All the original members were in this video though.) They all wear masks and jumpsuits, which change with every album they release. Their songs range from brutally heavy to relaxingly soft, with a few experimental songs thrown in the mix. Here'sa list of their typical "starter" songs, in case you were curious: Before I Forget, The Devil in I, Duality, Unsainted, Snuff, and Spit It Out. They also have a ton a other under-rated songs, but those are just to get you started. Great reaction as always, I've been binge watching your channel recently. Keep up the good work!

I think "Not Long for this world" is there best example of melody, singing, growling, effects...give that a whirl

I've noticed that most people who listen to Slipknot (or metal in general) for the first time, usually enjoy it. I think that most who hate metal are those who have either never heard it or choose not to.

Never too late to get into Slipknot, unfortunately 2 members have passed away As for 'black heavy metal' This song is pretty much standard mainstream metal at this point but 'nu metal' is their genre

Paul was more of a loss to slipknot, the fans and the metal community. Joey IMO was a loss to the entire music industry, truly one of the greatest drummers of our generation. Although Jay isn’t quite as talented in my opinion, I feel that in terms of a “replacement” they did a great job

I'd recommend you guys go find SLIPKNOT LIVE DOWNLOAD 2009. That is in fact their very best setlist and show, so do react to any of the songs on there but especially DEAD MEMORIES and LEFT BEHIND, are great duo songs.

Slipknot has that mojo to blow speakers and break headphones (RECOGNIZE) You have to do react to “Duality” & “Before I Forget” by them

May I humbly suggest any of the wireless over-ear headphones from V-Moda. Not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either. Great sound quality for music reviews & a little better at taking abuse than most headphones out there- especially those with plastic headbands. Good video! Check out Duality or Devil in I. Fair warning, though- the visuals in the latter are a little…… dark.

if you guys like Slipknot you gotta check Godsmack, Linkin Park, Papa Roach, Limp Bizkit, Rammstein, Disturbed and Mick Gordon (creator and arranger of DOOM video game soundtrack) hope you guys enjoy it :D

Definitely more along the lines or Nu-Metal or Alternative Metal rather than Black Metal. Black Metal is completely different. Slipknot has been a soft spot for me though I'm not a super fan. They have one of the most recognisable sounds. I can't be certain but I think I read in an interview where they said they wanted to have a unique sound like Korn had.

I think you should watch Spit it out live in Download 2009. The crowd control is really awesome. And if you like drums solos, Nero forte (among others) is pretty fun.

This band will blow your mind with what they can do and sound like. Try something like : The devil in I Spit it out Vermillion 1 & 2 Nero forte The list can go forever

Its not metal unless something gets broken! Great reaction. They've got sooo much more to experience. I recommend starting from their Self Titled album Slipknot from 1999. Do track 1 and 2 because 1 is just the album and first songs intro. The song is called (SIC) and is a banger. Then just go from there through the songs in their numbered order through their discography. Or don't. Just a suggestion.

New metal its called rather than black metal. Black metal is darker, if you wana hear black speed metal i suggest vectom - speed revolution good fast music. But slipknot is amazing, love em all.
