Funny thing is listening to all these old jams makes you realize how many songs you actually know. Some you haven't heard in a while, but as soon as it plays you remember every word.

Just listen to Rakim & LL rhyming live with no pre-recorded lead vocals in the background …such a breath of fresh air 🙏🏾

If you haven’t already seen the performance from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction a few years ago where LL & Eminem performed together and it’s amazing; the energy is off the charts as they play off of each other, sing each other’s lines, you can see the respect they have for each other and it’s more than worth a watch!!

It's amazing how most of us lived thru the golden age of hip-hop 80s, 90 and early 2000s, and didn't even notice it at the time... living through the 90s and 2000s was just different from today... even though there's a few artists that are okay, it doesn't compare to back in the Golden era...

I stopped watching BET awards about five or six years ago. There’s nothing like the old school. This generation of rap and hip-hop is too hilarious, rap, and hip-hop. It’s like poetry and all you hear these rappers. Nowadays is rapping about the same thing and really not saying much this new generation of rap and hip-hop can never outdo old school, i’m not saying all the rappers isn’t good it’s just it would be nice to hear them rap about something that’s understandable and makes sense
