A really good release for target panic is the carter evolution or silverback. I know results won't be as fast as mine usually but after two days of using the silverback, I was able to hold on target instead of locking below because of my target panic. I would highly recommend a true tension release for serious target panic

Nice release I have always wanted to get rid of my arm release and get a hand held release

Thumb release is the way to go especially if you are shooting in the cold winter. It is way safer misfire is almost impossible. By the way great video. Regarding target panic you can get away from it with thumb release. I normally shoot on command and some times I practice a surprise shot. I didn't see much of improvement in accuracy with the surprise release especially when it comes to long shots around 50 yards. What did make a difference was rest time between shots.

Would love to give that chocolate a try!!

Fun fact, my oldest brother who isn't into hunting, fishing, the outdoors or anything read an article about target panic in a hunting mag while he was on the can. Then he told me about it, and guess what, the next time I went shooting my bow, I suddenly had it. Soooo annoying. I've been dealing with it for like 14 years now I've never shot anything other than a trigger release tho, so I'm gonna try a thumb. I shoot a crossbow now, because if you have target panic you can't ethically hunt, but I'm not gonna miss the first 2 months of season either lol

Why do people that use these types of releases twist the whole release vertically? Where the release is up and down instead of sideways? Doesn't this twist the D-Loop thus putting torque on your string?

Love to win that thumb trigger. Looks like. It is more secure.

Back tension release and the deer can hear that click on that back tension.

I hate my release I have the backspin and my bow is at 83 lbs and im always worried about flinging a random arrow i cant pull my bow back holding the release like you do i have flung a few on accident pulling like that
