I'm not very sure of that percentage you mention but sure is a sad thing that very very few people are well versed with those books of wisdom and science. That's because of the academic system, especially at the basic school level. Vedic literature based teachings are next to absent in schools. Students grow up with very less or no awareness about the real content and value of the scriptures. I for one, am 48 yo and only now beginning to nurture an interest on the subject. It had to start from childhood but it never did, sadly.

Even most Indians have never read their own ancient scriptures. The ancient Indians have written many and length works of texts on many aspects of the World, Society, Civilization, the Universe, and the Eternal higher power and truth. But, most Indians aren't even aware of the depth of knowledge and wisdom written in the ancient Indian literature. It's quite sad. But, i hope the new generations find a sense of gratitude and appreciation for the works of their ancestors.

Hahaha The Hindus claim that they were so scientifically advanced that everything was made by them. Later on the knowledge was either destroyed by Muhgals or the white people copied their ideas. As soon as something is discovered they claim that it was already mentioned in Hindu scriptures. Ironically such advanced people’s research is now limited in finding medicinal values of Cow Urine and Dung. They invented everything except for pen to note down their inventions

Santan Dharm didnt have branches-but mankind and time lines create the spreading of the dharm. But we all started as one from the dharm. Westerners before the arrogance and misconception this is all western and religious, the scientists of time gone-used to admit it all came from Hindu dharma. SO it was all renamed to scientific technical terms for example-each an every reaction is the karmic law of Lord Krishna and many more-they invaded translated claimed as their own-scary tbh.

The biggest misconception here is because people who are still on the surface think that its an Individual's Birth that should dictate which category he falls into. A deeper level of understanding and research reveals that Birth DOES NOT dictate this system, but rather his natural ability and actions do. The Caste system as a part of the true Sanatan Dharm(Vedic or Hinduism) is the most misrepresented concepts, used in the education system for propagating the British ideals. It has been created by the people in the society for their convenience and they say that its an ancient custom and stuff like that. Truth is, even lord ram, who we consider to be an avatar of The Supreme Soul, had given great examples of how the righteous man should not fall under the clutches of the the false understanding caste and other such customs that have been created conveniently propogated by certain sections of the society and surely the Vedas do not teach that. True cast system, is simply, a way of living which uses an individual's talent and actions as parameters for organizing the society. an individual's Birth DOES NOT dictate this system, but rather his natural ability and actions do.

Varna or caste system is indeed part of sanatan dharma... Varna system is socio economic division of labour as per ones abilities and actions (karma). You have it everywhere, first the IAS , then the CM and then PM in a hierarchical order. The wrong part is the division should be based on karma but self styled upper castes defined it on basis of janma (Birth), and the oppression started.

Hinduism is the last standing "Natural Dharma" which is a natural progression of Mythologies to Religion to Dharshans/Philosophies to Science. Only thing to remember is there's no Super-Natural. And not everything humans thought previously was right. It's a continuous progression. And it must be preserved. And we don't have to be stuck at the past. There's no God. But the impression of God is the Universe itself that's personified through your conscience, metaphorically speaking. "There's only one world. The Natural World. And no Super-Natural." -Sean Carroll (Physicist from Caltech University)

And if u guys read some 'religious' texts that the Hindus use carefully, u will find that many of the facts have scientific origin which have been carefully concealed by using metamorphic words which have double meanings.I studied Sanskrit in high school and when I started to read the original sanskrit version Gita I was surprised to find that many of the concepts of Quantum mechanics that we deal with today was mentioned in Gita.

Yep they even knew of the vimana that we see in the skies all over the world. These sightings are well documented. I have watched hundreds and hundreds of people report seeing cigar shaped UFO craft. One elementary school girl called it a cigarette. These are the mother ships. They are miles long sometimes. Huge. We are not this body or from this world. Immersing ourselves in a perceived consciousness that is beyond our immediate world is what we do. We always have. Reading books, watching movies, playing video games, virtual reality, where does all of this end? Where does this go? It ends when we have gotten really good at projecting our consciousness, to where we can actually live a role and not just imagine it. And here we are.

Yes, this is why India needs a self-awakening of Hindutva to regain our ancient and medieval history. Our history was hampered and devastated by the constant onslaught of Invaders and Colonial rules that had an inherent superiority complex and tried their best to impose it on us for about 1000 years. It is unbelievable that Sanatan Dharma and Vedic Culture is still connected and survived somehow despite such a prolonged and constant attack. But it did break our collective understanding of our civilizational roots and erased some of its history to some extent.

The sad issue here is that, us indians jump on the idea that western science (although science is universal and west played only a part in its development) sometimes answer some fundamental questions that appear to coincide with the Hindu ideas of spirituality. This type of behaviour is spreading among us Indians making us think that somehow our culture is superior to others. I fear this might lead to supremacist ideas. All religions try to correlate their faiths with scientific discoveries stating things like scientists are discovering thing only now, that is given in our religious texts written thousands of years ago. A common person is easily fooled by these words as a common person wants to have some proof that their religion is the true one. Since science is a evidence based approach, we happily try to find connection between science and religion. There may exists several similarities. That does not imply that ancient civilizations actually discovered the modern scientific truths. Had it been so, we would have been much more developed by now. The idea that there is a fundamental indivisible entity called kana as described by kanad is often referred as a proof of the knowledge of atoms in ancient India. But that is definitely not the case. The fact that we now know atoms are divisible and even the constituents of atoms are also divisible, throws this argument away. Hindus won't be able to develop scientifically if they cling on to the idea that Vedas hold all the answers and modern science only rediscovering them. We will go to the same path of Muslims, who are so backward scientifically that it is now almost impossible to bring reforms in the world of Islam. Hinduism has been historically a softer religion, allowing reforms from time to time. That should be our pride. The effort of connecting religion with science is a futile endeavour that will cause harm to Hindus in the long run.

I think even the most "educated" on Vedic science alive today are not completely educated. As All of the Upanishads, Vedas, Granths are themselves not available to read today, many have been lost... Most of Hindus feeling proud need not be that proud on the past and you are right in stating that, it leads to blind faith & superiority complex, that too on half knowledge. On the other hand, I disagree on one bit from you, "Had it been so, we would have been much more developed by now." Maybe the idea of development is different for the people back then, maybe they don't believe in artificially engineering our nature, they mostly tried to go as natural as possible through Vedic means (spirituality) rather than going the route of Modern Science. Most of our Products are not good for nature. Even a tiniest of toy these days will have some or other artificial product including plastics, chips etc. Maybe this is not the route they wanted to take and kept the universe simple & as natural as possible. BTW i don't think either you or I have read even a few of these Vedic materials to comprehend what they actually hold. We can't say Kana is an atom, what we call an atom may not be the Kana our Vedas are talking about.

@@manishbhattt i welcome your different point of view. It is rare to find such constructive criticism when someone objects against the blind faith. In present day people like us are easily labelled as anti-national or anti-hindu. So i am really delighted by your comment. You could right that the interpretation of kana being atom is wrong. That is kind of my point. Religious scriptures are written in very cryptic manner and are often open to interpretation. This is a big problem when you are trying to communicate the truth about reality. Modern science has given us ways to understand nature in the most precise ways possible. Sometimes the concepts and math can become hard but one can learn it with effort. And the best thing about science is it is not open to interpretation of the reader, at least not the part that is well established. On issues of things that are being investigated now, there are definitely many point of views. But they will be eliminated through experiments in future. While science gave us the means to produce plastic and utilise fossil fuels to progress our society, it is the same science that has made us aware of the harms of these thing. Scientists are tirelessly trying find ways to make the environment better. It takes time to do research. It is science that will drive us to brighter future. Without modern day science we would have not been able to feed 8 billion people and lift them out of extreme poverty.

@@sb3987 Interesting! I agree with you on many points. Its funny how most Indians dumb down and try to find even a tiny bit of similarity. That was your point too to begin with. This leads to error ofcourse and sometimes because of this stretching of imagination, our culture becomes a laughing stock. Our actual understanding of universe was good enough in past but it gets overshadowed. Maybe We are missing one point though that some products of the Vedic scriptures are actually very discrete too. Religious scriptures can-not not be cryptic, you know. They are "religious" after all. It might contain few mentions & instances of how world was seen back then giving us sometimes a peak or glimpse of science of that time. So does that mean thats it? Did we not have a need of Curriculum or theorems or laws that can be taught to standardize learnings? Actually we did have books (or called Vidyas) will give you 2 examples here maybe : 1) Aryabhatiya & Aryasidhanta by Aryabhata - These actually have precise calculation of distances between planets, between sun & earth etc. Lots of other topics are covered over there. 2) Sushrut Sanhita written by Sushrut, he being called father of surgery for a reason even today by physicist around the globe. Some originally written chapters are there on palm pages being currently preserved at Los angeles county museum of arts. He goes into great details of how he used to have surgery at that time. These are well accounted and acknowledged by world. In both the examples you can counter by saying Modern science has gone beyond the understanding of these gurus as well. In which case i will have to agree on some cases & on some maybe not. Example could be Anesthesia being used in all the surgeries today, this is a great invention of modern science. All of these gurus work were Vedic in nature again, they didn't want to twist the nature as its tamsik and un-ethical. Also We can't forget the wiping of our heritage & scence time and again. The count of lakhs of such vidhyas captured in books being burnt in Takshshila & Nalanda.. Now I am not being generous here and making an overestimation that we knew everything. But we sure don't know how much we knew back then. Both modern & Vedic science have its advantages.

@@manishbhattt i completely agree with you. It will be utterly stupid to discard any scientific development from the ancient India. There has been indeed a great many instances of scientific achievement in the past that were way ahead of its time as compared to the west. The examples that you mentioned were only two of the many. And you also understood my point that we should not extrapolate or exaggerate our past scientific achievement to feel good about ourselves.

The collective soul is needed now more than ever, which is why divisiveness is preached everywhere. The Unified Spirit is all that stands in the enemies way.

Sanskrit is PIE, Vedics/Aryas are only IE. RgVeda is the oldest (over 7k years) IE literature. Iran's oldest IE literature Gatha came in 1k BCs. Greek Illiad Odessey came in 8th c BC. Literature from Europe came after 7th c CE. 👉All European, Mediterranean, central Asian, steppe nations are founded by race of Bharath (Vedic/Arya). Kings, warriors of Europe are definitely R1a1aY/R1a1Y {Vedic warrior caste (Shatriyas)}, this marker didn't exist in steppe to Europe before 1k BCs. They've descended from CimmeArya, Saka, Sauromata, Alani, Roxolani, TochaArya, Kushan, Wushun, Xiangno, Khotan Aryas who conquered great steppe then Europe, China in the 1k BCs from India-Iran region when Vedics from India already conquered upto Anatolia (Mittani-Hatti-Hari) in 2k BCs. Greco-Roman descended from M-H-H Aryas, only Aryas can bring IE language, chariot, Mitra, the thunder/sky God, astronomy, astrology, funerary cremation in Greece & Italy. Aryas in west have turned blonde/white breeding with white women (Celts R1bY, Veneds R1aY) like brown Jews turned blonde. Imagine Europe's Monarchies started coming 1300 years later than the Saka monarchy of 700 BC., literature after 7th c CE. Greece Italy Monarchies started 1000 years later than M-H-H. Proven conquest of west by Aryas.👇 "👉In 2k BCs Mittani-Hatti-Hari conquered upto Anatolia. 👉In 800 BCs CimmeArya, Saka conquered Balkan, Ukraine, Russia. 👉In 500 BCs Parsha conquered Greece, Balkan. 👉In 400 BCs Sauromata, Alani conquered beyond Ukraine all the way to British Irish Isles, remember RgVedic Goddess Danu. 👉 In 400 CEs one Alani branch conquered Spain raiding Greece, Italy. 👉In 400 CEs Hun conquered half of Europe descending from Tocha-Arya, Kushan." Lords of Turk, Mongol trb@ls descended from Tocha-Arya, Kushan, Wushun Aryas. R1a1aY/R1a1Y can easily be found among Turk, Mongol, Chinese, Tibetan, SE Asian, Jews. Literally all later conquerors of central Asia, steppe descended from Aryas. Nation's kings don't share common race with commoners. Arya, Ezyptian, Mesopotamian are only martial races. ++++++ Whites (CeltR1bY, Vened or old SlavicR1aY) are neither IE/Aryas nor warrior race, no evidence of their native language, their home is Yamnaya & Sintashta. Let alone riding chariot they didnt even ride horse. Roman labelled them subhum@n. IBN Fadlan described yellow haired are f!lthiest of God's creation. Till 10th c CE r@ping, hum@n s@crifice used to be their custom. Stark contrast in civilization of people in a continent confirms different origin. Whites aren't martial race but they @nnihilate anyone weaker than them, they've @nnihilated native Europeans. Roman, Saka, Sauromata, Alani, Hun Aryas could do the same with whites but didn't. In last 1k years Aryas of west assimilating with whites commited gen0cides of American, African, Asian, Australian. Hiroshima nuking, WW1/2. British rulers who are Vedic R1a1aY/R1a1Y l00ted $45 trillion alone from India & feeding whites leaving 10 mill. Indians starved to death. Vedic civilization is destroyed by her own long lost children. ++++++ Since 800 BCs Whites (Celts, Veneds) are subjects of Aryas (CimmeArya, Saka, Sauromata, Alani, Roxolani). Next conquered by Roman descending from Mittani-Hatti-Hari Aryas. Next conquered by Hun descending from Tocha-Arya, Kushan Aryas of Tarim basin. Next conquered by moors of north Africa for 700 years, moor leaders are Iranian Aryas. Next conquered by Turk, Mongol, l0rds of Turk, Mongol tribals are Tocha-Arya, Kushan, Wushun.
