Today on this episode of ‘Second Innings with Manjot Kalra’, we welcome Himmat Singh as our special guest.
He talked about how shifting homes to a different district in Delhi made him discover his passion for cricket at the age of 7. He began practicing at the cricket academy of Sonnet Cricket Club and started playing school-level tournaments. He talked about his inspiration at school during his initial days.
Himmat Singh is an Indian cricketer who plays for Delhi in domestic cricket and in 2019, he was also a part of RCB. He described his learning experience while playing with Virat Kohli for the RCB team. He represented Delhi at the Under-16, Under-19 and Under-23 levels and the North Zone at the Under-19 level.
Who is Manjot Kalra?
Manjot Kalra is a left-handed opening batsman from Delhi who played for India U19 in 2018. He was a major contributor in India winning the U19 World Cup against Australia because he scored an unbeaten 101* in the final. He has been a part of IPL as well since he was picked by Delhi Daredevils in 2018 and later retained by them in 2019.
His cricket career has been marked by significant achievements, including his match-winning performances in crucial games and his contributions to various teams at both the domestic and international levels.
