Hi! Awesome video! Your video has made our choice a lot better. We will be travelling from Toronto. I was wondering about the random covid test at the Punta Cana airport. Did they just pick you at random while going through security? Also, how long did you have to wait for the result? Thanks in advance!

Thank you for watching our video! There was no more random covid test when we went to Riu in April 2022. Double check if they have not removed as I think they did. The random test was very quick. You just wait outside and they call you with the result in about 10 min.

Thank you for watching the video. I would suggest to watch our video where we make a detailed comparison between the two to decide. It is very subjective but Hilton is one step ahead for us😀

@@thesunseeker1387 Hi. Thanks for that. I see that Hilton has a "PREMIUM" membership which excludes people without membership. Did you have this membership? It seems to me that people who don't know about this membership wont have the holiday they expect. Based on this it makes me doubt whether the Hilton is a better choice than Catalonia Royal Adult (unless there is a hidden membership there too). Your response would be greatly appreciated. Thankfully there are people like yourselves that do great and informative videos!

@@djfrenchman Hello again, and thank you for your questions. We did not have any membership in any of those hotels. We love the beach and there was no such a difference for members on the beach. Members just had a separate area but honestly we don’t think that makes the beach experience any better. Beach is beautiful throughout both hotels. Members in Hilton have an access to a private pool and jacuzzi and if you are a pool lover that maybe something you can consider.

Would you go for adults or family? We are adults and normally we would choose adults but the pool and the beach area actually looks better on the family side according to the videos.

Thanks for watching the video! It really depends on the price I think. If the price of adults only is too expensive buying the family is a good idea. Keep in mind that almost all a La carte restaurants are in the family section and you can go anywhere because you don’t have kids. Adults only section is more quite.

Thank you for watching our video! We went in November and the weather was beautiful! We can’t really say about the nationalities as we don’t really care about it! We love people and the nationality for us doesn’t matter. We are sure you will love the resort and everything it has to offer!

@@MarisolDValdez Of you test positive you can either quarantine at the hotel (they provide this option for you at arrival) or you can quarantine at another facility they will put you in. In any event you must buy insurance otherwise it will be really expensive. Ask your travel agent for the best insurance. Some carriers provide free covid coverage. Sunwing woe example have that option now. Before Air Canada used to have it but no longer offer it. The test is free of charge - complimentary. I hope this helps😁 Enjoy your vacation and stay safe!

@@elbrumby9525 Thanks for watching the video and thank you for the kind words! We personally enjoyed the beach of Catalonia better but overall experience as combined beach, hotel, restaurants and service we would recommend Hilton.

Try to remember that this is how they make their living. You are staying in a very expensive all inclusive so money clearly isn’t an issue.
