My daughter lives in Hilo. She's been there for two years now. We came to visit her and the family back in April and we fell in love with Hawaii. We are now planning to move there hopefully in the next 2 or 3 years. Loved your video. My daughter took me to that farmers market and I was amazed, loved it.

We watched this video a year ago, so thankful for learning all the fruits we never heard of, yet had seen as we are Hawaii frequent visitors. Thank you for the information, we tried 3 new fruits due to watching this 4 times, and now are hooked on a few, and are promoting these to our Canadian friends :) I have found one here in Victoria BC! so happy, yet it didnt taste the same... Again, thank you for this so informative video, we would appreciate another to include more fruits and veggies :) We are there yearly and love cooking.

Ahhh this brought back memories! I worked on a couple of raw food retreats on the big island and we'd always make trips to the Hilo market 😊. Thoughts of moving to Hawaii run rampant in my mind lately as we are still in the thick of our snowy cold winter here in northern Michigan 😜❄️. I actually enjoy a lot of aspects of it, however, a migratory lifestyle sounds really right to me..future goals 😊🍍. Your videos are great Megan. Thanks for the Market tour!...this video gave me my Hawaii fix for the day 😉.

I enjoy the farmers markets all over the Island. I enjoy the locals and the way they interact with one another. It is the tourists and the wealthy hoales who own the mega homes in the best areas that really makes Hawaii a lesser place. I totally get why the locals don't care for them.

I just got back from here, a week ago. I had virtually every single fruit you mentioned. My family and I need to move due to medical necessity, my wife is 32 and is falling apart from Dystonia. It's so incredibly difficult to move, but it's required. My doctor is from Hilo, and he is the man who is pushing hard for us to move-move-move. I would do anything to live there and save my family, but it's going to be a hard transition. We are Kratom and CBD vendors and I hope to finalize my degrees in Hilo and help the community. Beautiful video.

You are moving away from Hilo, or are you moving to Hilo?

Moving too, just got back. Tried to make the transition but our autistic son freaked out and we had to come home and recoup so he doesn't run away from home. Hes so afraid of hawaii for some reason. Counseling starts tomorrow!
