Why did the project get demonetized? Was it a personal decision or was it the platform?

@@aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa997 I gotta say both. I have to spend a lot of money on the project. And I just can't afford it. Hence the reason that people can support via Paypal / Patreon. The big problem is we post mostly copyrighted material. And we can and will only monetize the videos we have permission to do so on from the artist/label. The reason that the project is running right now is that I (Lars) have some fantastic friends that are helping me out here on the channel so I actually have time to speak and work with artists. We have plans for the future and would love to do albums again. But things are not free. So to round things up. Most of the videos that are monetized on the channel are not by Cross Nation but by the labels / Artist. with the exploded amount of ads, I would rather shut the ads off. but I can't because of the copyright claims A couple of years ago CN got a strike from a label that was not happy with us for some reason. This resulted in our demonetization. But recently we have gotten it back :) If we look more into the budget I'm still losing money on the project but I have been worse. With more support, we can work on Albums again and many more future projects So I hope that made some sense for you and answered your question if not please hit me up :) God bless -Lars
