We have eaten here and enjoyed it very much! Always love it when our Veterans are honored! My Dad was a Career Army man! He and 4 bothers Served! Dad is 90 now!🇺🇸❤🇺🇸

Hi guys first of all that toilet with the cigarette butts and the sign is hilarious. Also supporting the Veterans is a great idea and they deserve so much more for sacrificing their lives. I would have ordered the bananas foster with the sausage like you did Bobbie. Now I am craving that so badly. Nice country style restaurant ❤️

Let me start by saying you touched my heart by putting the dollar bill for the veterans as I am a veteran, thank you. As for the food it looked awesome, and the prices were amazingly inexpensive for the size of the big portions you get. Love the decor of Hillbilly's Restaurant and I think I need to watch the video for the address because I think it's time for me and the wife to take a trip down your way to try some of the places you've been and do some site seeing, coming from Virginia. Thanks for the video and remember, let's rock n roll.

what we like the most about hillbilly's is that is away from the parkway, away from the hustle and bustle of the maddening crowd. lunch is great too. my husband loves the blt and the onion rings. the people are so nice and friendly.

Boy I love The Hillbilly Kitchen. Love the 1940's truck right in the middle of the resteraunt. Bobbie your bananas foster French toast was delicious I'm sure. I love bananas and enough of them . John your breakfast was my favorite chicken fried steak, potatoes, milk gravy and the eggs. Nice that you can sign the dollars for vets since my dad served as a career.

Great video! My (Lori) dad is a Vietnam Vet, so I love to see places and people who give back to our veterans. That country fried steak looked AH-Mazing!!!! Tommy makes a mean cube steak and it's on our regular dinner rotation. We probably would have made the same breakfast choices as y'all did.

@@jbinthehills mine was Navy so he probably gave John’s dad a ride to kick butt. He did end up participating in combat and it’s hard to listen when he talks about it because it was awful. He lost both of his lifelong best friends during that time. It’s the only time I’ve ever seen my dad cry.

Very cool restaurant. Food looked really good!! We didnt have cube steak for a long time either. Some of our local grocers didnt carry it anymore. We were in BJ's one day and BAM..they had cube steak!!! Back to making it again. 😊

We have eaten there a few times while staying over in Townsend. We like that they are not as busy as the strip and can get in quickly. Foid was good.

My Mom & Gramma would have "smothered cube steak" with fried or mashed potatoes. Cubed steak was an inexpensive meal for a larger family. I almost fainted when I saw how much $$ it is now !! Lol!

I use the Good Seasons Italian dressing packs. I follow the instructions on the package. Then you put 2 tablespoons of raspberry preserves in the good season mixture and whisk together.😎😎

Here on the west coast they call it chicken fried steak. Not sure why. I have never tried one, as I like bacon withmy eggs, but my sister likes. I'm not a fan of bananas. Thanks for sharing.

Do you realize that the Veterans Health Administration is a division of the VA that has annual budget of over $100 Billion dollars? Over 350,000 employees (almost equal to troops) and hospitals, medical centers in every state of the USA (and territories).
