For a bootleg, the 1st shown is quite impressive. The mask looks like the KBNFX sculpt that was originally planned to be used in the 1st movie.

8:11 I pleaded with my Mum to buy me a ghostface mask in the early 2000's... she came home with this monstrosity and I had to act really grateful rather than hurt her feelings that she messed up big style 😂

Something similar happened to me a couple years ago when I asked my mom to get me the Halloween 2018 Michael Myers mask from Trick or Treat Studios. What I actually got was a Chinese bootleg mask that both felt and smelt weird.

I like how the whole ghost face costume started out as a Halloween costume.

The mask at 6:13 could be scary if used correctly on another costume, or if you remake the mask with different coloring and stuff, could definitely scare a few people in different forms.

I remember when scream was big for Halloween and dollar tree sold a very bad ghost face mask the hood was paper there was a costume also made out of the same stuff like it could rip the face it self was the ball rubber like that could also rip 🤣

There's something really freaky looking about some of these things.

I can't really understand why there are so many bootlegs. Maybe things have changed since the old days but I remember the "good ones" were always quite affordable anyways. And yes, I also had a bleeding version when I was a kid

I don't have much to say but this, the only thing most of these masks succeeded in is that they're so bad, they're more unintentionally terrifying than the official masks.

another great bootleg that's being sold is the Ghostface open mouth mask that you can find on Halloween clubs website or in stores. Yes, I've seen it in person. Yes it's much worse then the picture online.

It makes me legit feel sad how some of these masks are even sold. I had one come in, the same day it was back for return. It was one of those hard plastic ones. Not even a black hoodie could redeem that thing. My first thought is "how could you even hurt your business like that?" Then again, some people really dont give a shit selling trash. When I was 15 (?) I basically got gifted a mask + robe from a classmate. That mask was rubbery and the best one ive ever had. Dont know what happened to it but I remember it to be quality. Oh how I wish I still had it. It did smell chemical tho

A majority of these images came directly from a post in the scream and Ghostface collectors group, and many of these images have been around for years and years. There are also many pictures that I have gathered over the years from searching for the real Funworld masks. Believe me there are more than enough to do a second video as well!
