My reaction to the Albertosaurus having a phone in its stomach was exactly like yours, completely confused why a phone was ringing when I got next to it,questioned if it swallowed a phone and the Medical team discover it has swallowed a phone, while I was laughing like a maniac at that. But what’s also funny is that it’s a slight call back to the Spinosaurus, who also had a phone ringing inside its stomach, in JPIII and I enjoyed every single bit of that moment playing it and watching your reaction. Really excited for what’s next,as I’m still on the same level as you are,and I honestly can’t wait for what is going to happen after this section of the campaign.

This Yosemite map is amazing. This is exactly what I wanted, just wish the whole thing was usable or at least playable. Love the various herds roaming freely in such a gorgeous locale.

24:16 was the absolute HIGHLIGHT of this episode.

I am liking the playthrough of JWE2 so far. Some of the new gameplay aspects seen in the Campaign I like. Like sending some people to search for dinosaurs out in the wild. I also like the additions of more flying reptiles. If only they could've brought more of the flying creatures in JWE. Oh well. I hope I can play this game in the future someday.

I’ve started playing this game as well. Only real complaint I have so far is that I wish they did more than just spray the dinos. Major facture cured by a spray cmon haha

tbh they should have probably just put a roof on the facility, and have us drop them in through a hatch, similar to the aviary hatcheries. Then the hatch should close during surgery.

Loving the game so far just not how short the campaign is and the lack of JP era buildings and decorations but I am having fun with chaos theory mode a bit harder than I expected that common cold thing though I thought it was curable in the last game maybe I’m mistaken idk but only five of my dinos got it and it didn’t spread so that was lucky but overall the game plays and looks well on last gen and I’m sure when I upgrade to the Xbox series s the game will look even more beautiful also I did find you can kind of mix eras on last gen the amenities come default as JW era but you do have the option to change it to JP era type of construction and you can mix and match them but it’s only amenities and the cinema attraction but it’s something I suppose

in this game they do say theyre just going to let the herbivores roams freely so depending on if dominion takes place over time or just right after this who knows

Hi @Evo, if you've conquered all Chaos Theory modes, I'd love to know how you've handled amenities in your parks, because no matter what I've been trying in the JP 1993 setting, I'm hemorhaging money faster & faster than I can make it. The guests complain that they don't have access to drinks or gifts, but every time I try and switch things up and change it from one drink or gift type to another, they still ingnore those shops and complain that my park is lacking them! It's become incredibly frustrating and I go bankrupt before I can afford more dinosaurs almost immediately after my park opens. And I'm perplexed why the staff building isn't available until after the park opens, when my scientists are already well disgruntled and sabotaging my paddock gates several times before I even open the park? Like I said, IF you know, heard, or figured out a strategy or something about these kinds of problems, please give us a heads up too?

For amenities (and most things guests want), you want to use the Viewing Mode- the eye symbol in the toolbar- to check where Amenities of each type are low and then add them. Changing type only affects profit as far as I'm aware; matching the configurables to the types of guest present will make the building more profitable. You can check the change in profit when switching configurables (e.g donuts to steaks, no configurable to fish tank) by hovering over them- don't fill up all your slots for the sake of having them full, it'll just lose you money. If they get overcrowded, check for which ones are full and have Overcrowded Guests in their status sheet, and replace them with larger Amenities. Be frugal with your staff before you have a Staff Building- avoid setting unnecessary tasks until the staff building is in sight. Generally, my priorities for getting a park open (in Hard Challenge Mode, which is much, much harder than Chaos Theory) are something like- -Get the gates open ASAP. -Breed a dinosaur, or group of dinosaurs, that can make a profit ASAP. You can't just add a flock of Struthiomimus and expect them to turn a profit. -Avoid relying on Backup Generators, replace them with permanent power before they run out. -Get a staff centre researched before your scientists hit red stress. You can get bad events from scientists that become Disgruntled even before you get sabotage risk (such as demanding pay raises). -Get your park on 100% Restroom and Shelter ratings to maximise guest presence. Ideally get accommodation to 100% too, but Restrooms and Shelter are cheaper and it's more important to get the ratings to middling than from middling to max. Shelter being at 100% makes it much easier to deal with storms; you'll have much lower safety ratings (and thus ticket income, which leads to haemorrhaging money) even during 'safe' storms if you don't have shelters open. -Finally, get a response team so you can take pictures of your dinosaurs, and a vet unit to apply medicine. Once all these things are in place, you're past the early game, and your challenges will now be more focused on weather, enclosure design, managing your savings and dinosaur dominance hierarchies than having no money. -Avoid buying or training scientists unless absolutely necessary or until you have more money than you know what to do with, otherwise you can easily return to the early-game state of needing to raise more money (or fire your scientists) before you run out. Scientists are your biggest financial burden, not your park. Never buy more scientists while you're still losing money. If you want to play Challenge Mode on Hard to unlock everything in one go after you've done JP Chaos Theory (which I found pretty easy, which gives you an idea for how hard Challenge Mode is given it's taken me about three restarts already), the best strategy I've found so far for Canada on Hard is ignoring the wild dinosaur until I sell him for being on land I want to build on in the late game, breeding one Ceratosaurus, tech-rushing goats before he gets hungry, then putting a flock of Struthis in a neighbouring pen and following the priorities list. It may take a few restarts!

lol the campaign was easy. try chaos theory mode without going slow and youll go bankrupt wayyy easier, also in the campaign you dont have to build a real park so its easy not to do so

Just blasted my way through the JWE 2 campaign in like 3 hours... wtf? Why is it so short? This was not an inexpensive game, a campaign of that length comes across as insulting. It felt like I'd just finished the tutorial when it ended. I'm not at all impressed. I really want to like this game but it's falling short of my expectations, even though my only real expectation was that it be better than the first one.

if youre that bothered by the campaign length you shouldve watched a review posted before it came out, the campaign was cut short due to the newer movie being delayed which is whatever, the campaign was aight' and thats clearly not where alot of the focus is

Yes, the reviews said something, but this comment is also HIS review. The campaigns are too small. You know when the next movie comes out, you're gonna have to shell out $30 USD for the DLC right? There is no justification for this short campaign. Should have been longer.
