RedM!apple Same his heartbreak in episode 51 when he thought he’s lost her and is in so much pain just got to me. He really loves her and would die without her. I loved all of their scenes their all so precious and his heartfelt words that he says to her especially when he asks her to marry him.. my ❤️

@@queenb2450 omg i watched for them but hooked on the storyline. The storyline is soo good? Like you cant find the patriotism, good quote, emotion in other drama. This drama is so good and hilal leon make it the best. Their love story hold so many audience to stay until season 2. But cevdet and azize story is a little bit on repeated. Hilal and leon love story are very matured. They are the best epitome of enemies to lovers trope which include patriotism, flag, homeland and love. Rather than other drama enemies to lover which shows high school bully boy in love with the nerd girl. I love hileon no one can play them as good as boran and miray ❤️❤️❤️

I accidentally found this video and immediately started watching this series and I can honestly say this was one of the most beautiful yet heartbreaking Turkish series I've ever seen. I am an Arab I've watched tons of series on Netflix from Narcos to Breaking Bad to many more. This show is my favorite by far! It's extrodinary. The plot, the acting, the thrill, the twists, every episode feels like a film. It discusses patriotism, love for family, treason and raises questions like: can you love your enemy? Can you always love your family? And the way the series ended was extremely powerful! It haunted me for quite a while. I highly recommend it

I’m so glad to have found this series it has a lot of beautiful quotes:(( one of my favorite was “I’ve been braver since I loved you” also the conversation of hilal and her friend when he asked her “have we lost the war again?” But instead she replied with “we still have a lot of battles to win” IT SPEAKS VOLUME TO MANY LEVELS

I just finished watching this masterpiece and I feel so overwhelmed, I loved this series with all my heart, I loved every single thing about it oh my god it’s just perfect, Leon and Hilal just took my heart and soul, the love they had for each other and the way they look into each other’s eyes or the way they complete each other oh my I could go on and on talking about them…I loved every little thing about this series and it’s just truly beautiful, it’s definitely my favorite Turkish series, I will miss it and miss Leon and Hilal so much 💗

My God, I still can't get over this novel, it is very beautiful, it has always made me cry. In fact, it is my favorite novel ... I would see it a thousand times more and Hilal and León were what I liked most about the novel ... I also cried because, although the novel is beautiful, it is based on real facts. Because it only took me a few minutes to realize I was going to watch the series. And so I went and watched the series. And it turned out to be one of the best shows I have ever watched. I connected so deeply with it, I fell in love with the story and the characters. Everything felt so magical and I felt like I was traveling back in time and living with the characters. As a Turkish woman i want to say that this show is not just about love. It is a part of it of course but it is mainly about war of independence of Turkey. And it was far the BEST show in Turkish history. It was perfectly scrpited and filmed. I’m about to finish the series and I’m absolutely in love. Can’t stop watching it. This is an amazingly made production and it’s great to read that it is also accurate history-wise ! I’m a huge fan of Turkish tv series but this one made me feel super compelled about the History of the country and even more eager to visit Turkey some day 🙏🏼 Regards from Chile!

I agree with you, I learned a lot about Turkey history, I'm from Ecuador ( South America) I didn't know anything about the invasion and how Turkey fought for the independence. My favorite couple was #Hileon, but I admire the loyalty and love Azise and Cevdet for their country. I watched the 2 seasons as you say it was an incredible production work.

I found it a while back. The episodes are very long and there are a lot of them, plus many more characters that are covered. I tried to watch but it wasn't for me. Hopefully you'll have better luck!
