This brought joy to my heart. It must be so hard for her loss. Theres something truly special about sitting down for a shabbat dinner with your parents. I never experienced it despite being raised religious since mine have been divorced since I was two, but seeing Hila's family and seeing over many videos how happy you are together, it's something I want to see your child one day experience. No pressure to have a kid I know you get a lot of that, just raise that klein with shabbat dinners and maybe theyll turn out as cool as Hila.

He's definitely enjoying the trip in some way, but he feels best when he makes content. They seemed to had done lots of stuff there prior to leaving to Israel. They even built a studio for podcasts, how long it must have taken to do that? It's like when you build a certain momentum and then you're back to basics.

The fact that Ethan has literally slam dunked Hila is the most hilarious thought I've had today.

For real tho, RIP. Hope you both are in good spirits.

So I've seen quite a few replies about how Hila's father (or parents) supposedly don't like Ethan. It's actually bizarre at how many replies I've see with regards to this. But I think it's bad to make assumptions about how people feel, especially when we don't know them. It's particularly in bad taste, when you are speculating about someone's family member. And I'll admit, I'm partly guilty for making this reply. But it's pretty fair to say that, most Dad's have doubts about the person their daughter marries. Pretty common. Like fathers worry, because they know how Men can be like. And when it's their daughter, they are more over protective. Also when you are from a very specific culture like Israel, you prob have ideas of the kind of person you would hope your kids would marry. And obviously, Ethan is a major clash with culture and tradition. That said, I again don't think it's good to make assumptions and speculate about things we don't know. But I will say, I would think Hila's family would be happy for her, because she's so happy. They would be glad their daughter is happy. And keep in mind, Hila used to be shy and reserved. So to see her come out of her shell, and beaming with happiness - that is a joy that any parent should be able to recognize. And the fact that Hila is actually famous on the internet. Like never in a million years, would they think their shy daughter would be famous in America and doing well for herself (I mean look at their freaking House in LA. It's insanely gorgeous).

I doubt they hate him, I'm pretty sure there's a pretty big language barrier between Ethan and Hilas Dad so that probably makes it hard to show much affection.
