Salama made me cry when said she said she sees her children laughing and happy and she cries alone remembering the childhood she never had. I spent most of my childhood crying b/c I was an orphan child growing up in the home of firaun. I was a gifted child and adults were attracted to my intellect so this relative started abusing me. Now that I'm an adult and have long removed myself from my abuser I cry for children suffering and going through worse than I went through. I pray for innocent souls.

For anyone who's a private person in real life would not make Vlogs and share everyday routine with others
When Salama mentioned how she wanted to meet someone who forgave, all I could think of is this woman should listen more often to Mufti Menk's lecture about forgiveness because he gives the best lecture on it. I see she still hides so much trauma and pain, and hope Allah swt eases it

Yeah i agree that she still looks like she has that trauma and cannot easily forgive. Sometimes when the ugly memories arise, the pain comes back haunting you. Thats why. But she gotta learn to forgive. Life is too short and hereafter is forever. I wonder if she'll let Allah punish her parents in the hereafter because of how they treated her during childhood. Allah nauzubillah. She can do better by learning how to forgive..may Allah make it easy for Salama to forgive and let go. According to a hadith, on the Day of Resurrection, a righteous person who has experienced extreme misery in the life of this world will be dipped in Jannah. Then he will be asked: ‘O son of Adam! Did you ever experience any misery? Did you ever encounter difficulty?’ He will say: “By Allah, no my Lord, I neither experienced misery nor passed through hardship” [Muslim]
Forgiving does not mean we accepted what a person had done, it just means we accepted it had happened and move on for a better peace for us.❤ Sending love to everyone who is in pain. Don't ever give up hope on goodness 😊

I love Salama! Such a strong woman! It truly pains me the amount of criticism she has endured just because you don't see the image you got 2 years ago. People live, people learn, people move on. Why would you expect her to be any different? I am so happy to see her so empowered by her own actions and choices! We need more of that!
I hope more people listen to this podcast and they stop bullying her.. she’s such a gentle soul.. I’m so sorry for what you have been thru salama ❤

Salama, I did not know how to forgive for so many years. My wounds stayed opened. One day I understood that we are not all the same. And that abuse is all they knew. I understood that they were abused too and they were displaying the behaviour they were subjected to, with me. Some souls are more evolved than others. Some are more conscious than others. One day I felt deep compassion for them. I felt sorry because they didn’t know any better. What a miserable sad life.. in that moment of deep felt compassion, I knew I forgave. We are the light bearers, we broke that dark cycle.

100% on point. It takes time. Time is the most powerful variable to us human beings. With time people truly show you how they are inside. No answer is an answer. It's very sad and deeply hurtful but time will always let you know what you refuse to accept.
May Allah (SW) protect her and her children!

Same in some what ….. people around they just comment and make fun… but They know it really hurt us and we don’t choose to have it it happens
I never knew how vulnerable and hurtful Salama was, all we know in social media is the portrayal of a scripted comedy skit with her then husband. Salama you're a strong and an inspiring soul, I can relate your journey in self healing as well with ADHD. In terms of forgiveness, sometimes we're too numb by the trauma that we don't know how to forgive. But it will come the time when we truly forgive and release it so it won't be passed down to our generations..
I follow Salama more than 5 years. As a couple they made me smile even I felt depressed. But in this podcast she open her heart and soul to the whole word. That reqires a lot of strength and she alrealy has it.. Every single person has faced physical and emotional abuse, either in the family. the school, or somewhere else. Salama is inspiration. This is the right approach, to heal and biuld a new life. May Allah bless and protect her.❤
Thank you Salama for sharing your experience and inspiring people with positivity ✨❤️
This is the face of a strong person! So reliving that she finally won life!
This episode had me crying. I could relate on so many levels. I saw a few comments from the ordinal IG posts that brought me here. And boy do people get things out of context with the little blips of this entire pod. I am so grateful for being the type of person who seeks for themselves rather than let others decide.
Have always found Salama magnetic - making a point of watching this whole thing!
I ❤you salama for being YOU... Keep being YOU. It's a blessing that not everyone is blessed with . AllahuAkhbar
What a gentle soul ❤ Salama I wish you ease and I am so awed with your grace ❤
She is a very special soul ❤
WoW Salama, your talk just empowered the hearts weakened by other sorts and few relatable trauma. Thank you for giving voice to the inner strength within you and redefining it to the present day existence of that soul named Salama. A heavy weight lifted off my shoulder after listening to your words calmnly re-empowering and assuring myself, (after having self-empowered for years, working within) there is that someone who had a hard time and she stood the test of time to speak out about it. Thank The Almighty and you for speaking through this podcast 🤲🏻🙏🏻.
As some one with major skin issues myself , I know what she’s talking about . And today I want to ask the world to be definitely more kind . The world definitely needs more kind people . And the biggest and best you could do is to stop staring at people with skin issues . Let the world be more aware of it !! Pls take a vow that you would stop staring at us . Also , if you get to interact with them , make them feel normal ( and not special ) , just like they are no different from you .

Usually, I don't listen to podcasts, but when her interview appeared on this podcast, I began listening to her and watching how she shared her story about herself. I was emotionally touched and deeply felt something inside... similarities... She was honest and strong woman. Sometimes people go through a lot in this life... I deeply understand that. Personally, I remembered my childhood and the effects from the past, some memories that I can not erase. Sometimes, people who you love the most can hurt you, and you try to forgive and forget, but you can not. Maybe it's going to take time, but it's not easy... especially when you have trauma from childhood. Thank you for sharing, Salama.

I totally agree with her, forgiveness is incomplete without accountability.
Our prophet Muhammad pbuh told us I swear about three things: 1. Whoever gives charity, his money will not go down. I swear by it 2. Whoever humbles himself, Allah will raise him. I swear by it. 3. Whoever forgives, Allah will increase his izzah. I swear by it. The prophet Muhammad (pbuh) gave Qasam. Whoever forgives, he’s not the weaker of the two. Whoever forgives is the stronger of the two. The more izzah is the one who forgives. Izzah: Dignity, respect, honor Qasam: swearing in good faith (oath)

Think positive and full support. Strength and courage. Xx
This interview was carefully orchestrated. I watched this video because I really was curious why they haven’t posted a video together. They were my favorite couple on YT and Instagram. Their videos were very entertaining. So yeah, a bit disappointed that she did not discuss the “big elephant” in the room. No mention of Khalid Alameri, the father of his beloved children. Though I understood when she said “I can’t change people, but I can change people”. And her response when the podcaster asked what she meant by that. I get it. She controlled the narrative of how this interview went. She only spoke on subjects she agreed to speak on. Either way, I applaud her for her perseverance and strength to find her place in this world, and for realizing her potential and talent - in creating a successful business. And I applaud her for being able to juggle career and her children. Best wishes to Salama!

I don't think she achieved everything alone. Neither can she just proclaim to be independent. The world has seen it. I don't see genuinity in her words 🫡

@@adilahmed45I agree. One cannot do it alone. She may have been the brain of her projects, and tasked people to carry out her vision. But I’m sure Khalid was by her side in the beginning and throughout, championing her cause. (At least that is what we saw in their videos. ) If the post on X is true that Salama and Khalid has divorced, then I am saddened for both of them, and especially for their sons.

@@Indiangirl1984why would you believe people in social media? Most people who show their private life are not real
You never know what someone is going through. Never judge people. We need to be compassionate towards one another more than we can understand yet you find people are so harsh with one another. Compassion, understanding, and a loving heart. This podcast makes me love her even more.
Thank you so much both of you.im a guy but i had such a similar reaction to my own parents like Salama did...as she spoke i was doing self therapy to myself ..and i got a little breakthrough as to what is the status of my relationship with my parents.Salama radiates so much gentleness..this whole forgiving or not forgiving the parents was very eye opening..there were so many parallels with my feelings.thank you so much n all the love luck n joy to the both of you.
