I think a lot of it has to do with the calm vibe Mo and hubs have with the dogs.

They are all so darn cute and really well behaved!!

The loading and unloading is my favorite. They totally get it.

I loved the close pics of their faces when she took their leashes off. Such sweet faces.

It's really interesting to see how you decide who gets coupled together for walking. Seeing them all tired and happy at the end always makes me giggle. Thank you for these videos!

things like dogs who like to body slam go together, some dogs do not play like that at all and get nervous around those types of dogs or are nervous of being ran over by big "meat heads" wrestling

You're really agile with the dogs. I have trouble walking a single dog. Nine dogs would be the death of me, lol.

I was thinking the same thing. I have only watched a few of these videos but the german shepherd always seems preoccupied with making sure he is doing the right thing, that the woman is with them and ok, and he is always at the back of the pack when hiking to keep an eye on things. He has oldest child energy.

You have the best control over these dogs while giving them their freedom. They’re so well-behaved but you have a gift relating with them. PS: no matter how well-behaved the dogs I would have much difficulty keeping track of even one. Dogs know who’s in charge.

I am personally very impressed that you managed to not only establish yourself as the pack leader amongst all those high energy/drive breeds, but also- was selective enough to weed out terrible dog owners from your clientele, or make sure that any puppy present, at least went through basic command training. unheard of in the other states. im for sure that the reasons the people of alaska are willing to not only pay for such a service, but keep up with the training is because bears, wolves, and moutain lions are a constant threat. This kind of chemistry in a pack is a dream. Take it from someone who monitors doggie daycare (and has bosses who won't turn away a problem dog), this kind of peace in a group is INSANE. Most of the time, you get bullies and the bullied. Dogs who dont listen to basic "sit, come" commands, and those who jump and dont mind nipping you.

yea, the dogs need to be able to call off from play so no one gets picked on. Dogs come up to me to ask for breaks sometimes. The key is knowing dog behavior and the dogs really well.

@@MoMountainMutts I have not yet, limited internet and only KZread. Live cabin off grid 9,000' mountains Colorado, heat primary wood, minamlist type. Odliy enough came across full size nice school bus and will be going into business dogs here, 30 miles from world class skiing summit county and only two dog day cares. One I worked pre-covid 30 pups a day, unfortunately irresponsible owner so COVID shut down actually helped in a way moving on from.

My husband and I used to hike with our three dogs and occasionally with a friends dog making it four. My husband would be in the front and I would be in the back. If they wondered off the trail too far all we had to say was get back in line and they would. We were a pack. 😊❤️

really depends on the dog(s) we run into. Some i know really well and we say hi/give them space/or do a sit/stay

Hahaha. It might have been a 45 min walk for you but think about how many steps they got in😅 I used to have a toy poodle and I would take a bunch of rez dogs hiking on a mountain in New Mexico. She was so tiny and they the other 4 were pretty big. She would keep up with them but would keep coming back to check on me. My current boxer does that too. What would life be without these wonderful fur balls? ❤❤
