It's certainly a beautiful place. To me it will always be associated with Close Encounters of the Third Kind. That was the first time I had heard of it. It is so unique that I thought initially it had been made for the film. Great vlog, thanks for sharing.

The Devil's Tower appears to be quite magnificent 🗻It's a massive rock formation. It was intriguing to learn how it formed, how it earned its name, and what tales surround its formation! That is a beautiful natural creation! This monument is one of the most fascinating I've come across. It appears to be a massive tree stump made of rock. Thank you for sharing your expertise! 😊😊

Thank you! Yes it is a lovely National Monument to visit in northeast Wyoming.

Interesting to hear the history of Devil's Tower. I remember we were doing a cross country trip when I was in 2nd grade. I saw a photo of Devil's Tower and I asked my father if we could go there. He said we were not going to be close to it. Two years later we did see it as we went farther north on another cross country trip. There is something about it that reminds me of the shape I have seen in paintings of the Tower of Babel. I enjoyed seeing this again.

I have been here several times as we tend to past through this area on our road trips. I find this place very mysterious and magical and love to hike around the base of the tower.

It does resemble a very old, giant tree. But is is definitely magma rock. It is really interesting!
