HIKING PITÕES DAS JÚNIAS
Starting next to the cemetery towards the village of Pitões de Júnias, this circular route is not signposted and requires
be very careful, it is not very advisable to start, more or less, from km 7 to km 8.6 derived from not having any marked trail.
For the more adventurous, the tip is in case of difficulties in orientation, just follow the small watercourse there that takes us to the river through a lot of dense vegetation.
From the river, the path that leads to the village is already found. Taking a detour, you can visit the viewpoint of the Pitões das Júnias waterfall and the Santa Maria das Júnias monastery.

Com início junto do cemitério em direção à aldeia de Pitões de Júnias, este percurso circular não é sinalizado e requer
muito cuidado, não sendo muito aconselhável a partir, mais ou menos, do km 7 ao km 8.6 derivado a não haver nenhum trilho marcado.
Para os mais aventureiros, fica a dica em caso de dificuldades de orientação, é só seguir o pequeno curso de água ali existente que leva-nos até ao rio pelo meio de muita vegetação densa.
A partir do rio, já encontra-se o caminho que segue até à aldeia. Fazendo uns desvios, pode-se visitar o miradouro da Cascata de Pitões das Júnias e o Mosteiro de Santa Maria das Júnias.
