Hiking next to Redcloud Peak, Point 13,561’

From the Silver Creek trailhead, hike northeast up a hill and into the forest - Near 11,100', leave the trees and continue on the trail as it parallels Silver Creek on your right. Continue on the trail as it swings right (southeast) and enters the basin northeast of Redcloud - This area usually holds snow in early summer. To this point, you've hiked approximately 3 miles and gained 2,000 feet of elevation - Continue south toward the saddle between Point 13,561' (left) and Redcloud. From her I went left and followed the ridge to point 13,561’. Next scrambled to the top of the point to get a great view of the area and Redcloud Peak.
