So cool you get to hike with Cody again. A true blessing! I love my ‘be free’ but the flow rate is an issue for sure because you can’t back flush it like the sawyer. Such a good feeling when your fingers don’t hurt anymore from squeezing it so hard lol

Taylor was definitely glowing today! Hiking with her BFF, meeting up with her mom and her aunt, and having lunch with Fresh Grounds! What more could she ask for? I guess her husband being there too maybe!!

It was so cool seeing McAfee Knob through your eyes. That was the one stretch of trail we never got to because of a fire. So cool you have been experiencing a lot of trail magic from Fresh Ground. When we couldn’t move after being fed by him we called that being “Fresh-grounded”! What a beautiful day that was. Thank you for sharing. Ps-is that an Enlightened jacket you’re wearing? That’s the kind of jacket I wore on the AT. I still wear it. Very good jacket. -Kami

The sight of the parking lot is always exciting. McAfee Knob looks similar to Bondcliff. Both are "just big rocks" unless the wind is blowing 30 mph then it's a whole lot more scary.

I'm not sure why you bring your tent along "except for emergency situation's but you could bring a tarp instead for that " along with you if you're not planning on using it much?? I'm curious why you decide to use so much of your hard earned money on hotels and hostels ? I think one of the coolest parts of backpacking and hiking is actually sleeping in my tent even if it's raining or snowing. its part of the experience. Anyway,hyoh sister !!!
