Hiking Allgäu / Upper Swabia - Loop Loreto Chapel and Castle Wolfegg (2018, 4k)
The circular walk to the Loreto Chapel and the castle in Wolfegg starts at the Hofgarten and leads through the fields with a great view of the Alps to the chapel from 1668 and over the cloister to the Black Madonna inside. Then continue to the town hall and the automobile museum over to the castle Wolfegg, which is still inhabited by the noble house Waldburg-Wolfegg and not to be visited. However, it is possible to visit the unique fresco on the ceiling of the parish church of St. Katharina. Then it goes past the Hofapotheke through the Lustgarten with the Orangerie, in which an exhibition of sculptures and photographs took place. Then continue to the starting point of the tour.

Hallo Klaus, Danke fürs anschauen👍😊 Die Wanderung war auf dem Weg zum Bodensee ein kleiner spontaner Zwischenstopp der sich lohnte, denn Wolfegg hat seine mittelalterlichen Wurzel gepflegt und hat eine schöne Lage vor den Alpen. LG Horst
