I wanted to be in the mountains all alone. I decided to take the leap and just do it. I created my own hiking alone video in the great state of Colorado all shot on a Go Pro. Grizzlies/ brown bears have returned to the Lower 48 over the past 20 years or so, first to Glacier National Park and now in Yellowstone and also I think in the Tetons. The danger would be mostly from encounters along the trail which can be avoided by making some noise/ talking/ wearing bear bells while you're hiking. The odds are really low on having a violent encounter but I would agree, solo backpacking requires some grandes cojones 😬

We just spent 10 days up in Yellowstone and Grand Teton a couple weeks ago. We absolutely loved it up there, especially Grand Teton. We hiked some of the smaller hikes like the Bradley-Taggart Lake loop and Cascade Canyon out and back. Stunning views wherever you look and tons of wildlife. Your videos have really inspired my wife and I to start hiking into the parks instead of just seeing the sights from the turnouts. Keep up the great work man!

Man I love your videos. The hikes you do are amazing yet doable for anyone. Love the comments at the end. Hopefully one day I will do some of the hikes you have done.
