Sorry about the spelling error of Daniel's last name at the end of the video. It's "Reoch"
I'm not sure how that happened, most have been spell correct that I didn't notice. Either way my apologies. 🙏and Marshall's last name. Iwaasa in the opening and the candle vigil at the end. I'm truly sorry for this error.
Hello everyone, in today's video we will be discussing a case that started in November, 2019. A group of hikers were set to hike the Phelix Creek Trail in effort to get to Brian's Waddington Hut in remote British Columbia, Canada. After the reached the end of the logging road where the trailhead began, they found something unbelievable. They found a burnt-out pickup truck that in their opinion smelled fresh.. so much so that they took various pictures then went to the authorities.
It was found to be the vehicle of Marshall Iwaasa (26) who was last seen 14 hours away in Lethbridge.
Another disappearance that occurred within hours of Marshall being reported missing was that of Daniel Reoch (29) who vanished from Squamish, British Columbia.
Both men remain missing to this day.
If you have any information regarding either of these cases please contact your local RCMP office or for Marshall contact The Lethbridge Police Department at: 403-327-2210.
link to interview with the guy who removed the truck:
bridgecitynews.ca/missing-man...
My thoughts and prayers go out to Marshall Iwasa and Daniel Reock, their family, friends and all their loved ones🙏🙏 I hope and pray both men are found soon🙏
Thank you for watching🙏

There was another channel that covered Daniels story with a few more details and the fact that it reeked of a crime and the Whistler RCMP said there was nothing is suspicious means they know something and is a cover up by them. The RCMP needs to be investigated..Their was a mention that a tough guy scary dude met with Daniel at a pub and that scary dude was really pis sed, so prob a gang member and possibly related to the corrupt Whistler RCMP..

It’s outrageous that Marshall’s case was not investigated thoroughly by the RCMP. The arson in itself is criminal, and all the circumstances around the discovery of the burnt out truck are extremely suspicious. What are the things a family can do to have accountability in such circumstances?

Barely Sociable did a very in depth look at this case and the more you look at the details the more disturbing it gets. One thing of note that wasn't mentioned here is that the witness at the bar knew of the Cody Lewis cooler before the photograph was released (supposedly the information was leaked prior in a social media post, but I can't tell if this was the same post where the witness at the bar recounted his experience or if it was a separate comment made by someone else). And finally the vehicle was removed shortly after Barely Sociable's video on the case was released.

I think the authority's is guessing about alot of things an still guessing . Such a shame for the family members They havent gotten any closure for their loved ones at all . lots of unanswered questions, media pressure, a profile from missing persons sites can help with procedures and witnesses coming forward. Going backward is essential to finding evidence in the case. Lethbridge could hold many answers to what happened, along with the school he attended and who he was communicating with on social media, students who are in forensics can take on some of the technical components to help find the guy, and answer questions as well. Cyber Sleuths usually have technical experts that can find social and internet information leading to the last people he had contact with. Where did the evidence go that was strewn around the area of the truck. The family should have access to that information. Was there a wider investigation going on tooo...Hope he's found for the families sake.....Great reporting, thanks.

Daniel’s story sounds like other young people who went on to be diagnosed with schizophrenia. He’s a little older but who knows what the health/MH care is like there or if his family were in the habit of regular care. I’d bet the stuff unattended outside the truck for two days was moved by animals.

From the evidence, in my opinion, this could very possibly be illegal drug activity. These two men could have spent the money from the sale of drugs without paying their dealer(s), which got them murdered. Or, If they were confidential informates for the police, and this information was discovered by who they were selling for, this could also result in their demise. Still this is a very sad situation for both these mens' loved ones. Thank you Bryan for all you do to help the lost be found. ❤

I'm curious why you are assuming he was in or with the truck. Zero evidence shows that his person was ever there.

The cooler could have been moved by a bear, especially if it smelled like food. Bears will move all kinds of things around like that if they think they can get food out of it. Still a very suspicious scene.

The story of Daniel Reoch is very sad because multiple people failed him. He should have been taken to a hospital for evaluation. He needed help and didn’t get it. He died of neglect.

Both cases are very suspicious. Why were there different i.d. info in the burned out truck. RMCP did almost nothing. I believe these cases are connected. You may be right, perhaps they were working for law enforcement. Thanks for another intriguing video.

Or law enforcement know of drug gang in area & don't want to interfere for their own protection?

Idk, I think it's definitely possible that Marshall did this himself...to a point. I do like your theory, however, I think it would be worth investigating.

Soo frustrating... a car just doesn't start fire on it's own! And where is his phone and computer? Those would have been with him. Why is all his stuff strewn all over the ground like it was done intentionally (to throw the investigation off possibly? Or someone looking for something and tossing things as it's being gone through?) And doing an investigation on it 9 MONTHS LATER!? Ughh.. such incompetency & laziness of the authorities (or worse, it being intentional and the police are somehow involved). Incredibly infuriating. And ya, taking the steering column? How are they overlooking all of this MASSIVE evidence!? He was most likely murdered... And for Daniel, so sad it took so long for him to be reported missing.. again, absolute failure of police. How did they just say the cooler was just "coincidental"? Then you have a WITNESS who seen these 2 missing men TOGETHER who were worried a man was going to MURDER THEM, and then they go MISSING and the police just did nothing about it. Just WOW. Ya, I wouldn't be surprised if they were confidential informants and the police are hiding that. It makes ZERO sense why they would say this isn't suspicious when it soo obviously looks and smells like a murder case. Hoping for the answers for the families, and to be able to bring them home so they can give them a proper burial and say goodbye... 😢 ❤❤ Praying for them ❤ 🙏 Thank you Bryan for bringing this story to our attention, hopefully it'll help with getting information for the investigation, or even just bringing them home finally... ❤
