He sure is and he saw too how skilled Hikaru is deep down with the fact too this was the first time Hikaru had played one color Go and he had held his own really well!

一色碁ってマジで難しいんだよなぁ 不思議なもんで棋譜を一から記憶できる棋力になっても一色碁でわからなくなることがある

One of the greatest and most emotional Anime I have ever seen. There are parts of this Anime that have made me cry like a baby that just got it's shots for the first time. Balling my eyes out so hard. I love this Anime so much.

This was probably my favorite match that I remember the most because it was different. I also wished you would have the part where Hikaru said he had forgotten where he placed his stones at.😊

At the club where I played we used to joke that we were playing 9p moves but that was only because they were the first 4-5 moves of the game.

I saw it in a martial arts movie. It was played between two martial arts masters. They thought playing this kind of game was more challenging on the mental level, then killing each other on the physical level.

@@lonehawk2k455 That's believable. There's something about Japanese pride against Koreans. From what I heard they have quite a history so they held some grudges of the past. Like the upcoming "Solo Leveling" anime got a lot of backlashes from Japan for making Japanese the bad guys for betraying Korea. So they'll change the main characters from Korean to Japanese that take place in Japan with a Japanese name.

It's a cool idea for the experts, but to keep a player honest or make a rule out of it: they should have white stones with a black dot on the other side to verify it's Black. Then arguments can be settled by looking at the other side.

Maybe. I would say he hasnt realised until he has tested the Situation, that his opponent has misunderstand him Too. The autograph scence was before he has begonn. Until that his Opponent has the higher ground.

If you are interested I do have a video on my channel explaining the rules and how to score and well as various other tutorials. One color Go is actually just a parlor trick hehe it's quite easy to do after a certain level.

I think i understand some basis of it. If you trap stones of one colour. Inside a pattern that circles around it completely. Then it means the opponent loses those stones. But outside that. I am uncertain

It's a territorial game. Imagine your stones being border stones of your country. The area they surround is yours, and whoever has the biggest country at the end of the game wins. You also get points for capturing enemy stones. A stone or connected group of stones is captured if all adjacent spots are filled with enemy stones.

ちなみにアマチュアでも1色碁は出来ます。 ただ、入れ物（碁笥）に入ってる碁石は白だと180個なんですが、1色碁をやると片付ける時に逐一個数など数えないのでズレが生じます。 碁会所ではあんまりやらない方が良いです。(˘ω˘)

Seems tough. Maybe by playing it yourself it's SLIGHTLY easier though, because we all have our own memory of placing stones, wanting to do x,y,z and then they place stuff to disrupt it. Seems so hard on 19x19 though.

nope, they can both use black too. problem with one color go is u have to rmb the position of the stones.

対局前の「よろしくお願いします」が字幕だとGood luckになってるけど、これで良いのかな？なんかニュアンスが違うような気がする
