Great interview by Tania. She's very sharp. Hikaru gave a very good masterclass and thinking process of 2700+

Hikaru is the best at doing these kind of postmortems in a way that is easily understood and enjoyable for a patzer like me.

and that is the key difference, for us mere mortals, both hikaru and any other top 2700+ player are the same distance, but hikaru explains his games SOOOO much better than anybody else.

I still believe in this idea: There must be a function which takes two inputs: the position on the board in the form of a 8x8 matrix and who is to move and returns the best move.

There is nothing wrong with Hikaru's memory and speed of thinking. Compliments to Tania for facilitating this masterclass.

The question at 1:08:07 there actually was on the grunfeld, naka plays this c3, Ba3, takes on e7, and takes on Nf6 happened 3 times and winning it it was a blitz or rapid.

    yeah after 1.b3 Nf6 2.Bb2 g6 3.e3 Bg7 4.Nf3 0-0 5.d4 c5? 6.dxc5 Qa5+ 7.c3! Qxc5 8.Ba3 and takes on e7. Not winning but white is better

@@AM-sp6je Exactly! I swear 95% of the YT chess community is made up of horny, lonely, pathetic losers. Which is why on any video with a female chess player/commentator/interviewer, or even just a woman in the background somewhere, theres always at least a few guys posting the most random, thirsty comments

I know you have to sell the tournament and all, but with every interview asking: why you love gib so much is getting kinda annoying
