    Its so cool to see GMs think of the same ideas. When Hikaru called out the Bh6 Bf4 manuver, I didn't think of that, but Danya looked at the same line. It isn't a crazy find, but the thing is they were looking at the same threats. That's the difference between a 3300 and a 2000. I basically got to 2000 by grinding puzzle rush, but they have to see the slow positional improvements.

    playing puzzles isn’t really a good way to improve yes you find tactics but you have to play more and play less puzzles the idea isn’t that hard to find since Hikaru is in a much worse position he needs to try and get counterplay which is hard in this position and bh6, bh4 is the best way

    @@firstlast7184 You & sethlawson, thanks for the comments. I looked over the vid & I know what danya meant which was not to call his oponent a "bitch". He called gmHikaru lucky, and, without thinking and in the same breathe, cursed by saying "bitch", but that curse was not directed at gmHikaru. It was equivalent to ending a sentence and leaving no space after the period. Danya made a grammatical error with speech!! True story.

    at 3:08 cant hikaru take the white knight (on f3) using his bishop, white responds with queen takes bishop , queen takes queens pawn takes queen and then simply take the white bishop on f7 . (if i am missing any intermediate move i would be happy to be corrected)

    @@vercot7000 Magnus Carlsen was diagnosed with Asperger's. I wouldn't be surprised if Hikaru was Autitsic to some level too. It's more common with people on the spectrum; but also when you have an anxiety disorders. So maybe you're right maybe and the pressure of streaming causes it.

    In mathematics and science, trivial does mean simple. Some dictionaries include this definition or synonym, but others don't. Westerners, especially in modern times have been using trivial as a substitution for easy or simple. So he's not wrong.
