Ringo Starr is a good drummer. "Sina Drums" has a great video on this, giving examples of how he chooses different drum "melody' for several distinctive Beatles songs. All those she shows have a distinctive and recognizable patter for given songs. E.g. "Tomorrow never Knows".

Good yes. Just do not compare him to Neil Peart. That man deserved being called the Professor

Ringo is an exceptional drummer! I never appreciated him until I played bass with a Beatles tribute band, and our drummer was doing all this amazing stuff that I never realized was there, but he was just playing Ringo's parts. Ringo was all about making incredible grooves that served the song, not showing off, and maybe that's why he was less noticeable than some drummers. He was absolutely necessary for the Beatles' sound. His work with the Beatles was innovative, powerful, and sadly difficult to appreciate unless you take a deep dive - or try to learn it yourself, or play bass with someone who has. (Bass and drums are tightly linked in rock music, so we get to know each other's playing intimately.) @@thequokkahaslanded321 Drummers I wish I could play with: Keith Moon, Gene Krupa, Dave Grohl, and Ringo. I love Rush, and Neil was exceptionally talented, perfect for the band, and maybe the most technically skilled and innovative ever, but rarely did I feel as much emotional power from his playing as I do every time I hear those others. I was always amazed and impressed by his playing, but I look for more than that in music. It's all subjective. Who was the best? It's all opinion and taste. Now his lyrics... Neil always reached my soul with his lyrics. Peart, Townshend, and Waters are my favorite rock lyricists. No bullshit, just simple, honest humanity stated with unbelievable eloquence and (in Neil and Pete's case) humility.

2021 here: checked out Jo Moore on Google. Eight years ago, she was training to become a primary school teacher. Anyone got any updates?

Oh yeah, THIS! It's obviously this, not THAT. And it's exactly this, certainly NOT loosely this. Only proper exact stuff from this point forward. By the way, what are you talking about?
