Big Sur is a rugged and sparsely populated region along the central coast of California. It is known for its dramatic cliffs, towering redwood forests, and stunning ocean views. Big Sur is a popular destination for nature lovers, hikers, and artists seeking inspiration from its breathtaking landscapes. The area is home to several state parks, including Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park and Andrew Molera State Park, where visitors can explore miles of hiking trails, discover hidden waterfalls, and observe diverse wildlife. The iconic Bixby Creek Bridge and McWay Falls are two of the most famous landmarks in Big Sur, offering picture-perfect views of the coastline. Traveling along the Cabrillo Highway (Highway 1) is one of the best ways to experience Big Sur, with winding roads that hug the cliffs and provide panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean.
