Anything Micheal Landon produced seems to turn to gold .

Great ,fun,uplifting episode. Wish they had included a final conversation between the old man and lady friend. She owed him an apology. But i suppose her showing up was enough .Never underestimate the courage of the older generation.

Gets me right in the heart a fantastic tv show from a lovely era

They don't build 'em like Michael Landon anymore.

Highway to heaven truly inspirational. Michael Landon always made me get teary eyed and think about the important stuff in life. Here we are I turned 60 relieving my life back in the 1980’s when I was in my 20’s. Landon’s message of hope, love continues to truly inspire me as I know it does others

This TV show touched lives and hearts and souls a taught lessons. We need this more than ever in 2023

SO good! When looking at HTH and other older films, you don't have to worry about inappropriate behavior, language, or anything else I long for innocent, well written scripts that teach morals.

Watching highway to heaven warms the heart....yes..this TV epic ..its about love, hope compassion..and faith...all rolled into one......We must believe..... I love the two actors here...Jonatahn and Mark....they are both now in heaven....... RIP iDOLS::.the highway to heaven......its up there....God bless US ALL

This episode surely made my teardrops roll down my cheeks. I guess it's merely compassion.

It is so funny when you look at the crowd everybody is just little blurbs. I was there in the crowd when they were filming. I was sitting about seven rows behind the main lady in the episode who was in the second row. Before the filming started I accidentally stepped on her foot. I apologized profusely, but I had run up to the fence hoping so desperately to meet Michael Landon. I had such a big crush on him. I was only sixteen. I did get to talk to victor French a tiny bit.

Aparet from the wonderful sentimentality and moral import of Highway to Heaven, one thing I've noticed is how many upcoming and established actors and actresses I've seen in the various series. This particular episode features Moses Gunn who played Sgt Webster alongside Clint Eastwood's Gun Sgt Highway in "Heartbreak Ridge" (1986)

Amazing actors on the show like Keenan Wynn who were also in Bonanza Alias Joe Cartwright, and the amazing talented Moses Gunn who were perfect as Ted Tilly. 👍

This one was the best one yet!!! Thank you much for sharing these⚾

Keenan Wynn looked a lot like his dad, Ed. I will always remember him as "Digger Barnes" fron "Dallas". I loved that drama.

I think Angel in the Outfield would've been a great title. Notice I wrote Angel, not Angels since it was just Johnathan. ;)

Being 62 years old now 30+ years after this episode, I can safely say that age discrimination is alive & kicking in 2022. Ask anyone who's still trying to work until their last breath so that they can get what they already earned from SSA. As a person who became disabled in 2004 after working for 30+ years & having 4 careers by that age, I darn well deserve every dime I paid in. Old folks, you won't get it, so don't work yourselves to death. Don't believe the SSA hype. Michael Landon was pretty good at bringing up "controversial" issues before mainstream tv would "allow" it on the news. I am particularly grateful for the disability issues he approached in episodes with Scotty Troesch (?) & others like the cancer camps, children with autism, etc. We need actual tv series based on those issues today. When have you EVER seen a major news station- ABC, NBC, CBS, etc. have a "Disability Issues" annual segment? monthly? weekly? daily? NEVER. The powers that be don't WANT the general public to know how we get treated.

Everyone is mentioning Moses Gunn from Little House on the Prairie but nobody is mentioning the boy that played Kevin; David Friedman. He played Jason Carter on Little House on the Prairie. The Carters are the family that moved into the Ingalls' house after the Ingalls moved out.

@@MsDisneylandlover --Moses Gunn died in 1993, age 64. Yes, he did also portray Joe Kagan, the Black former fighter and pig/dirt farmer on Little House On The Prairie. One of his best LHOTP episodes was Blind Journey...and also Barn Burner. Check it out on INSP Channel Weekdays from 5-7 PM EST.
