I think Sims 4 could easily win if the classes actually work properly and students dont get up just because... In Sims 3, the town and the building feel alive. Can't say the same for Sims 4, as usual...

Another reason why rabbit hole isn't that bad, however the best part of sims 3 university is that it had better progression track for sims improvement

In the sims 4, performing numerous mean interactions on high school staff will result in a detention, especially if it involves the principal or one of the teachers. Pranking on the whiteboard or a loudspeaker (the latter at level 7 of the mischief skill) in the high school offers a 50/50 chance at detention although the chances increase if multiple loudspeakers are placed. In addition the results of some chance cards can yield detention. Cooking in a stove that is present in high school will not result in a detention however as the high school was originally not designed to accommodate a stove. Three detentions yield an expulsion.

sims 3 is the winner for me since it feels a LOT more lively than sims 4.

Imagine going to a school with a total of 4-5 hours of basically freetime and just 2 short classes, and still learn everything? Sounds like a dream, I’d loved to be in that school when I was younger xD

Sims 4 graphic looks little depressed vibe in interiors if compared to Sims 3 graphic looks more vibrant

I love that you're experimenting with voice content. Gives an extra layer to an already informative KZread channel. You have a gorgeous voice and the videos itself are fantastic, glad to see the two meet. Keep up the good work! Also, team sims 3 in this (too).

To be honest Sims 3 was the best since the game struck a balance between the rabbit holes and interacting with the world. It is a shame that the game isn't 64bit for Windows.

I remodeled the high school from the sims 4 to include a functional cafeteria complete with appliances like stoves, refrigerators, a waffle maker, and a pizza oven. In addition I equipped all classrooms with 16 desks each and added an archaeology table to the art room and a full rock band instrument set to the music room, expanded the fitness center to include a pool, placed computers in the study room, and added proper chess and computer club rooms. In addition I also added a buildable rocket ship for students to work on during lunch periods. Whenever the rocket ship is complete I make my students use it during fire drills.

Your voice is soothing and informative. As for Sims 4, the bookshelves were working when the High School Years at launch, but the emergency patch (like almost all new game and expansion packs), broke it again.

Sims 3 did it the best.

I know that Sims 4 school is buggy or boring but at least is the first time when Sims can go to the high school and not to a rabbit hole

I love the sims 3 university you get to follow your sims to class

When I first heard about TS4 having a high school pack come out, I was intrigued, but to be fair, after seeing others play, I did not purchase it, because I find TS2 mods that handle all active classes far better, and predate High School Years. I have TS3:UL, but do not play with it as much as I play with TS2:U, but not because I dislike the pack, I just find it to break immersion too much, but I do still find it fun. The lecture classes are rather boring to attend, but I do love classes outside, and each of the different degree programs at uni. The gameplay for active classes would be split, if TS4 offered mire content. A stink bomb failure causes death? That's right up there with dying from embarrassment, laughter and whatever that mirror legend is called. They are all cringe and nonsensical. I also see that TS4:HSY is still broken (I caught the T-posing), and therefore it stands no chance at winning, even if they patched in more content; it is just all one hot mess. For this video, TS3:UL wins hands for their active studies and classes! However, for me, I love the TS2 mods that allow us to have active classes for all ages, although I do not use them for uni, there are enough activities to enjoy that do not have them disappearing into a rabbit hole, no extra active classes needed. I do not know if it is just my hypothesis, but does anyone else see TS4:HSY, as watered down versions of TS2:U and TS3:UL?

@@TheLostFae I did not know that it was deliberate. Perhaps, I am not a fan of taking game glitches (especially in a supposed Life Simulator), and deliberately showcasing them, it's pure cringe. What's next? Add in pink/purple flashing, shadow blocks, camera spin frenzy, and call them game challenges? To see this in any Sims game is almost like EA giving the middle finger to actually fixing glitches, bugs and downright broken games!

I really like your videos (you're my favourite sims comparison content creator) and your voice is very soothing to listen to. But I think sometimes your narration is very hard to listen to. Your words sometimes slur together (speaking too fast or not opening your mouth enough) or you're either too quiet for the mic or too close to the mic, because certain words kind of fade. The accessibility for people who might not be able to read or keep up with the subtitles is really appreciated though. But maybe you could try enunciating your words a bit clearer (I understand not wanting to use one of those voice programs)? I personally prefer your videos without narration, to be honest

TS3 wins. TS4 is having expansions for like... 10 years straight?? And no progress at all... i still prefer TS3... oh, 15 years of TS3 launch today!

Sims 4 university almost took my sims' entire young adult life. I had to turn the age off. Also, it's not too memorable? I felt kinda sad when my sims graduated in Sims 3 university. Sims 4 is kinda flat for me.

This pack is what Parenthood should've included. It still caters more to adult sims than teenagers. It replaced the cool old photo poses. It was full of rabbit holes (no surprise here). It made two completely different lot types into one bc... reasons 🤷‍♀ Awful overpriced pack
