She sounds just as great when live in person. No Studio trickery needed with her trade mark voice.

What a Canadian classic! This song never gets old!Carole Pope knocked this one right out of the park! Pretty racy for the early 1980s!
Carol Pope is a true pioneer, so far ahead of her time!
Carol Pope's pipes are as stellar, if not even better than this track was released. I always admired this woman, she set the bar high for all young women who wished for someone to come along and show us what a modern woman during the last days of being defined by traditional standards. Carol Pope ROCKS
Not an ounce of power lost after all this time. Long may you rock, Carole.
Carole Pope and Kevan Staples...still kicking ass all these years later! :)
Her voice is fricken awesome.... Still after 40 years..
Love Carol and Kevin!! Great to see them performing again. Seen them a few times in the 80's
One of Toronto s best.
That song is withstanding the ravages of time. Great!!
Omg amazing. I’m 52 and remember being so intimidated and scared of Carole as a child but fascinated at the same time. 😆
Legends never die or disappear ....... 75 years old and still sings like she did in 1982 ..... conflicting birth dates , it is either 1946 or 1950 in England ..... birth records were a mess as we just came out of a world war .......
Man, they still have it and Carole still has that sultry voice in her singing that makes her so great. Nice to see this amazing band still rocking. 🤩

Having herd her live over the years her voice is actually better now than in her party days ❤
Is it only me who thinks that her voice sounds even better than the original recording? Real class!

Not detracting from her obvious talent in any way, but tech has certainly evolved since the first recording.
Brings back memories of Carole Pope on the stage at RPM. This was a wicked recording...sound is so crisp and clean. The band perfectly engaged and obviously enjoying the moment. You should be very proud of this latest recording it brings to life the vision of the song.
I remember when Rough Trade came on the Toronto music scene! They still sound fantastic 40+ yrs later!👍🎸🇨🇦
Still got those goosebumps ... sooooo good!

Thank you. Wow. Part of my life. Seeing you live and making us all feel okay in Toronto in the eighties. Amazing now reminding me of those times.
they still perform it so well you almost miss how good the writing is
Oooooh, such a naughty song it was at the time, too. I notice no-one mentioned the original release date :) It's about time, is all I'm saying... You new wave hellions! Love it, more, please!
Still has “that voice” a fantastic rendition!!
All I can say is "wow". That song is will always be great.

Amazing. I remember seeing them at "The Chimney" in Toronto so long ago when they first came out, they were so good and apparently still are.
Ok gotta admit this was WAY better than the original version done back in 81 or so. Well done carol et al!!!
Just awesome! Sounds much better now then that wore out cassette in the 80s blasting through box speakers in the back of my 74 Charger

I think she sounds even better now.
Nice tight sound, youz are sounding Drop The Needle 😎🤘
I really enjoyed that, and it looks like you guys did, too. Cheers. Bringing back a lot of great times, and living them through the tunes. Prost!
Great song because it was never high jacked by Main Stream Media. "I Kissed a Girl" was politically commodified and hailed the LGBTQ anthem. She is the real trailblazer singing from her heart and deserves credit over due.
I met her several time at the bar 501..a bar in Torontos village. Back in the early 90s and she was a good chat.
God damn you guys made great music. Thank you so much!
Happy birthday Carole you rock!!! missed you in Kelowna might catch you in Penticton Hope to catch you in Toronto.
Saw her and band in a bar in Toronto. She had this scary aura, especially with the lyrics.Shocking then (still are).Catch RT on their sctv appearance from early ‘80s.
Congrats Carole & Kevan
Still stands awesome,, thanks I needed that,,😎
My high school days. Outstanding.
I enjoy this song a lot. I remember my mom was telling me this song was a favourite from her days. And now I listen to it because it’s catchy and I even sing this too on my time when I feel like singing.
sounds even better after all these years
So proud to be Canadian right now. This is how I'm spending U.S. election night here in Toronto!

Takes me back. Love this song.
Excellent!
That voice! Sounds just the same as it did 40’years ago! Respect.
Those fukking guitar rifts when the chorus kicks in are soooo good!
KILLER!!!!
Our old pub, The Duke of Glouster, on Young is no more. It was all good.... when Toronto was a very kool place to be. We'd run into Carol there, and at our local convenience at Bay & St. Mary, just up from our Vic Res Quad...At U 'o' T...just another Sunday morn. When Manchester did Toronto.🍻
BRILLIANCE . . . Remember it in High School
Carol’s looking as hot as she was back in the day. Time hasn’t affected her at all!
Excellent.
YES!
GOD I LOVE YOU CAROL❤
