Watched the game live. The end result really didn’t fully reflect the game. Scotland were the better team and had they taken their chances the margin of victory would have been more. But, a great performance by the Scots. Very entertaining. Great skills all round. Two excellent tries. Highlights should have included Nelson’s two conversion which were first class. Tackling was top notch. Early Scotland kicking into the corner from penalties for the usually strong lineout play and drive just didn’t work this week. Maybe practiced lineouts too much this week.

I remember just a couple of years ago Nelson would struggle for range on conversions out wide, but now comfortably has the range whilst also maintaining accuracy. It must have taken a lot of work to turn a weakness into a match winning ability.

I've just watched the game and I know why I appreciate Women's Rugby over Men's. 1. Better short passing rather missing out players which makes the game faster. 2. ⁠Less aimless kicking and giving away possession. 3. ⁠Quicker rucking with fewer crocodiles. 4. ⁠Seventies style scrumming with less collapses. 5. ⁠More contended lineouts with less lifting. 6. ⁠Wingers running around the opposition instead of just trying to barge through. 7. The aim of Women's rugby is to score tries and convert them whereas the aim of the Men's game is to "Win" penalties. In conclusion, the Women's game is faster, more entertaining and more akin to how rugby should be played. Whilst the Men's game is too formulaic, slower and boring to watch.

Good observations. Also, the players enjoy the game more. It's less corrupted by money and there's less ego in general. (Although I think that English women's rugby unconsciously mimics the men's and they portray more toxic elements than other nations.) The women's game is refreshing.
