La jornada en el Grupo A concluyó con una dramática remontada de 3-2 para Trinidad y Tobago sobre Guatemala en el Estadio Hasely Crawford en Puerto España, Trinidad y Tobago.
Trinidad y Tobago se mantienen en primer lugar con nueve puntos, mientras que Guatemala permanece en cuarto lugar con cuatro puntos.
Fue un comienzo de ensueño para Guatemala, después que Rubio Rubin anotó el primer gol en el minuto 12 al tocar un disparo justo frente a la portería tras un pase de Nathaniel Méndez para una ventaja de 1-0 para Guatemala.
Guatemala se puso 2-0 en el minuto 32 cuando un intento inicial de Oscar Santis fue bloqueado por un defensor, pero el segundo intento de Santis se estrelló en el poste y entró en la portería.
Pero Trinidad y Tobago respondió y redujo la desventaja a un gol, 2-1 en el minuto 35, cuando Alvin Jones convirtió un penalti después de que Noah Powder fuera derribado en el área dos minutos antes.
Trinidad y Tobago mantuvieron la presión y empató 2-2 en el minuto 54 cuando un cabezazo de Neveal Hackshaw fue salvado por el portero de Guatemala, Nicholas Hagen, pero Reon Moore estuvo allí para rematar el rebote y hacerlo 2-2.
El juego se mantuvo abierto en los últimos treinta minutos, con Guatemala casi recuperando la ventaja en el minuto 70 con un cabezazo de Jose Pinto que golpeó el travesaño y cayó en la línea de gol antes de ser despejado.
La última palabra, sin embargo, perteneció a Trinidad y Tobago, después que Nathaniel James, quien había salido del banquillo para anotar un gol ganador en el primer partido contra Curazao, lo hizo de nuevo, esta vez disparando un tiro libre en el minuto 89 para entregar la victoria por 3-2.

Concacaf it’s completely corrupted. TYT shouldn’t even be competing for copa America. They found the perfect excuse to leave out Nicaragua and replaced them.

Trinidad and Tobago is extremely underrated!
Very close game, could have gone either way. Trinidad Defence was very bad at times, they still need a LOT of improvement if they want to get results against the heavyweights. Fortunately, the keeper had some good moments. Guatemala had some very good chances, just couldn't make the most of them.

El único gol que se le puede dar crédito es el gol de cabez contra Martínica de halli laing tiene que ponerselas solo para empujarlas diferencia de Lom que sabe jugar por la espalda de los defensas es fuerte, no le tiene miedo al choque y su disparo de larga distancia es mejor. Lom es la solución .
