this match shows that Tt is not only about speed. wcq did well. And to be fair, Harimoto added competition and passion to this match. how boring it would be if it's between 2 Chinese players. he is a great opponent that the Chinese team have to take seriously. for the healthy development of TT, we need more Harimotos ( who don't scream so much).

Two wins in a row, woah! WCQ is finally on the same level as FZD. He'll be the next #1 soon, so surprised to see him mentally matured and technically improved so much in 2022. CNT has limitless/endless talents. Harimoto is now playing at his peak as well. God knows how much more they can still advance. Lucky for us to watch. Congratulations to both. Wang Chuqin has the quickness of Lin Gaoyuan, the mental gameplay of Ma Long, but more importantly the mental tenacity of Zhang Jike. He’s taken the strengths of all the players I mentioned and molded into a gameplay well deserving of trophies. I think the difference between these two is that when WCQ gets a good ball to attack with forehand he's able to end the point with one or two very strong forehands, whereas when Harimoto attacks with forehand WCQ is able to counter or block it and keep the rally going for a long time.

In the first game, Wang still plays normally..his backhand is like spin 50% + speed 50%...Harimoto could handle this style quite well as he has trained for it . After the first game, Wang is using bunching a lot more for backhand .... 80% speed + 20% spin.. it is very effective. After 2-3 back to back shot, Wang will have a chance to do killer shot using forehand. This is my observation of the game and I feel that is the key to the win. We all know that for a professional player, the technique could not change within a short time as Wang lost to Harimoto couple days ago in team world cup. It is more like strategy and mental competition for them

Wang's fast transition from backhand to forehand on the backhand side is a beautiful weapon. Harimoto rushed him a few times and that's why Wang missed. Harimoto is capable of emotionally affecting others as he cheers when his opponent misses. Wang stays calm because Wang when he is playing at his own tempo is unmatched. Say what you want about Harimoto and his screams. I feel like it pumps up the other player immensely as well. I never see players scream and cheer for winning a point nearly as hard as when they play against him. WCQ screaming chole in that 7th match gave me goosebumps, and I feel like we wouldn't have gotten that fiery passionate moment nearly as big if he was playing against anyone else. I think Tomokazu's passion is infectious especially to his opponents.

Harimoto is too complacent when it comes to his main pendulum serves, which for players like Wang Chuqin are easy to adapt to. You could see that Harimoto tried to change his serves in the middle of the match and tried to do a reverse pendulum for which he failed to do as he missed. This shows how he's not confident in trying any other serves than his main ones for which they become very predictable for the opponent such as WCQ that can adapt easily to them. The last few points show the difficulty of receiving Wang's shovel serves by Harimoto. If Harimoto had done similar serves to Wang Chuqin such as the shovel serve he would've put Wang Chuqin at the higher predicament and thus having higher chances to win the match.

Harimoto is right handed WCQ is a lefty.Overall,Harimoto has better serves.WCQ has little serve advantage when playing against lefty players but Harimoto owns many lefties with his serves like Lin Gaoyuan and Boll. Also Lin Yun Ju looks like a serve magician against right handers but is pretty poor against lefties.
