I was raised in Sheerness and moved to Broadstairs in the 1980s; but I remember as a young lad, living in Fleet Ave, walking round the corner most Saturdays, to the old Botany Rd ground to see the team play. Many happy memories of their successes in the 1970s; I particularly remember a winger by the name of Steve Hunn (Trigger) who could curl the ball into the net from the corner flag. Good to see the team playing well and wish them every success.

Enjoyed this game very much. Came home frozen but well worth it.
