Wednesday fan here. You deserve it as you are a settled team building on last season's success. Went to the game today , Velasquez saved us from a rout. Hoping my lot get it together after a lot of upset. I am WTID, seen the Miracle of Hillsborough and the last minute header versus Barnsley. Seriously literally praying things improve! I am 67 years old, have seen Wednesday at their worst (mostly) rarely at their best.

Having watched some Championship football this season so far, I consider Ipswich to be the best and the most impressive team so far. I hope Ipswich can continue their good form and hopefully challenge for promotion to the PL 👍

On a grey and frustrating day for Owls fans l can only offer a small consolation. It was great to be in Sheffield again, a wonderful city with the warmest people anywhere. Always felt l could live there.

We had a very good English manager and Chansiri let him go. There are a lot of very good young English managers about who learnt their trade in the EFL and yet we finish up with another fancy Dan. The players obviously aren't playing for him and he hasn't a clue about English football. We need to get shot of two people in this club.

He's a great keeper. Could have been 4 or 5 with a lesser guy between the sticks. I still think with a guy like that he could make those players build in confidence. Not much has changed between both teams from last season. It's all in the mind. That keeper is top notch. 👌

Its a team game. Not just one player. In KM we trust. When Elkan is ready. He will play.

Wednesday were an embarrassment. Not one shot on target…. Our new manager did well with Watford. Wow! That’s like saying an artist wa# great because he could paint by numbers. This team ate hopeless. The Chairman must go. We got relegated because of him, and that same Chairman sacked the manager who got us back up.. the man’s ignorant, incompetent and has presided over a period of alarming decline for a once top flight club. We nearly failed to get promoted because our transfer pot didn’t enable us to buy a striker last January. Until there is a change of ownership the club will lack ambition and cohesion.

Oh boy, it was far from good performance but what about Sheff Wed? They looked like a bottom half League 1 team. They made a huge mistake to allow Darren Moore to leave. They didn't create anything. Only set pieces - one free kick in dangerous area and one header from corner. We know Ipswich were fragile in stoppage time last season but this time no worries. Everyone in the stadium knew for sure 1 goal is enough. Hirst continues with poor form. Two bounces, still didn't try to control the ball at all to take a clean hit and shot on target. Second time he goes left and make it harder for himself with angle not working in his favour. Ladapo with another game to forget. I know it's not possible to convert all chances for goals but I expect better shots from strikers. They had like 4 chances between them to put game to bed and didn't get one good shot. They need to focus more on basics. Two weeks later and Clarke doesn't look any better. I'm not sure about Williams as well. Both centre backs were great. Hladky didn't have to make a single save. Burns had a very good game and in-form Davis looked good as always. Hope he will be back soon. Referee didn't have to give so many yellow cards to both teams. Morsy got one and I'm not sure it was a foul and even if it was, card was unnecessary. Chaplin booked? I have no idea what was it for. Hladky got another one for time wasting which was ridiculous. Alright he didn't sprint and he took ball to the middle of his area and then changed his mind and gave ball back to Woolfenden but still it all happened in no time and they instantly restarted with referee interrupting to give yellow card. The only reason why Town have so many yellows due to time wasting is Ipswich take the lead in a game and then refs target Town. It shows they don't understand football.
