Scotland fan, Ireland shouldnt be too down on this result it could easily have gone Ireland's way. It was a great game to watch . Just that clinical finishing was missing for Ireland, at this level these chances when they come must be taken, and Gordon showed hes still a top class keeper. It's a very young Ireland side I think as well so theres a lot to be positive about. Definitely a penalty, possibly couldve been an earlier Scotland penalty as well. Both sides went hammer and tongs at this game loads of passion and desire. Was a great watch , I watched in a good Celtic pub in Glasgow that was 50/50 supporters green band gets a free pint if Ireland wins Blue band same for Scotland. I think playing Scotland is the shot in the arm Ireland needed to rediscover the passion of playing for your country that's perhaps been missing a bit lately for Ireland. It was never going to be the same kind of game in Glasgow as Dublin. If I had one criticism of Ireland it would be the way Ireland sat in and looked to counter Scotland when our attack broke down. Tbf that almost worked, but in Dublin ireland went for it and got the rewards for being more ambitious. Scotland went for it and got the reward in the end that their play probably just deserved though I couldnt have mumbled had the game finished all square. Scotland , right now have better options to choose from and players playing at a higher level. Ireland thumped Scotland at the Aviva and were close to something here , I'd hardly call that a disaster. Scotland are still gelling and on an upwards trajectory but still have a way to go yet, we only have the 2 strikers and 1 is a championship player. I'm certain ireland will whip Armenia and stay in this tier. I hope that Scotland can get at least the draw in Krakow and go up a tier to the A section , not because we're that good but because we'll replace England and that will sicken them HH! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇮🇪

The Orange in or flag represents the protestant community with the white as a symbol of peace in Ireland. McClean doesn't have an issue with protestants, he has an issue with British occupation. Because the world doesn’t revolve around Dunfermline. He brought Dundalk into the Europa League and won and drew a group stage game - never done by an Irish team before. They were competitive in all of their games. Won Leagues and Cups and built a great team at Dundalk. Maybe he could have got on well with Dunfermline but wasn’t supported by clueless eejits like yourself.

It was a terrible decision to not start Ogbene. Edozie has been the best Irish player since he came in and this year has been our best player. Obafemi has been absolutely woeful and Parrott has been average. Need to play our players who are in form. O’Dowda, Brady and Ogbene have to start

@@cianm6905 yes I watched da game cian but Browne has started plenty of games over da past year or 2 like Hendrick he always seems way off da pace these days, I just think there has got to be two or three more midfielders he can bring in, I see Coventry putting in solid performances for da under 21s when they don't have a big game on themselves like this week I think Kenny should bring him in nd try him couldn't be worse as a squad option

It's a sickener to lose that one, absolutely could have gone either way. Freakish penalty, it looked like Browne was run into by one of the other Irish players and threw his hands up thinking he'd been pulled down by an opponent

@@elzorro7of9 We were excellent in the first half against a team with 10 men behind the ball (Teams we have always struggled to break down) Unfortunately a couple of players made mistakes in the space of 2 minutes which has nothing to do with the manager.
