I always wished I had been born 10-15 years earlier so I could've seen many of the greats. I wasn't able to even enter a fronton until the end of '85 when I turned 18. I missed most of the greats. Thank you for posting this and all of your other videos.

@@patkowalczyk1 think it was 87 88 89..read in ny post that Joey won 2 of 3..but not sure. I was there live milfird front row when zulaica boniguen beat remen urquiga...partido. serving in doubles is a huge disadvantage...thats why zulaica and inclan were super dangerous. Hartford announcer said remen beat bolivar partido 79 ? Unconfirmed. Prob went to jai alai 409 times. Loved criws at mulford juaristi checking out girls warming up..lol.

@@georgebrennan2576 I think it was earlier as the strike was from 4/88- 1991. Zulaica played at Hartford in 79 and was at Milford in 83 though I'm not sure when he went to Milford but was back to Hartford again by about 87 and played through 4/88 and after the strike 91 to about 1993. Zulaica who is ambidextrous would pick off the toughest serves as they struck the side wall and then had a wide variety of perfectly thrown kill shots according to the opponents and their position. It was a joy to watch him perform. He would get into position with cutting into a players backhand path of the pelota as close as possible in order to get optimal position. It seems very dangerous to fans but is instinctualfor a great player to yield so closely. Inclan was another who could pick the tough serves and shoot a surgical two wall that cut out so it was a very clean winner. I used to play and worked at Hartford for about 4 years 92-95 (Ballboy, judge, player, back room cleaner, manager asst. game scorer). Milford jai alai was so nice and the building design and atmosphere were wonderful.

@@patkowalczyk1 what's your email let's chat. Remen was just as good as bolivar in singles. Agree or disagree
