@@cx34Your first point supports my previous point, the fact is that football has been ingrained into most european and south american societies for decades if not over a century. Talent, attitude, skill and the physicality is on a whole other level in these countries and is far more prevalent than it is in the US hence why many people mock the MLS whenever people try to compare it to european or south american leagues. I also don't see the relevance of being a financial juggernaut. So much money and yet hardly any of it is put towards the MLS or football in general and is instead used for more popular sports in the US such as the NFL/NBA/MLB. Most academies in Europe train once or twice a day in addition to strength and conditioning, school, etc, whilst some academies in the US i heard do barely 4 a week. At best, I'd compare an MLS team to a national league side in the UK. Whilst in time, the US may improve in quality and even start getting out of the group stages, it is my opinion that they won't become on par with european clubs for a very long time.

watching vela play today was something else he literally doesn’t put any effort into playing yet is so smooth with possession with the ball , only if he showed more interest into the game

Well, the better team did win. Nashville had more opportunities to score but they weren't as good as the few opportunities that LAFC had. And to add to that, LAFC has been on top of the table and that wasn't by accident.

The Defense was bad on both Goals, but I’m more frustrated with Sapong & McCarty. Sapong had the ball in the front of the next open for about 2 seconds and never took a shot and McCarty miss played a ball off the side of his foot. Both could have been Goals.

He had only 5 la Liga appearances due to injuries and when he wasn't injured Ancelotti played who was in form. That's the way he coaches. He played for Tottenham the year prior cause he was healthy. And the coach played him. Zidane as well when he was coaching was using asensio and Rodrygo because they stepped up big time when Bale was on loan and then again when he was back from loan but injured. So it's really no one's fault. But Gareth Bales haters are just that so I wouldn't expect you to understand.

@@IABJordan Interesting. This was the first Nashville game I'd seen, and he didn't exactly shine. Sometimes having a shaky defense can make a keeper hesitant (and vice versa -- defenses play 'tight' when they don't trust their goalie.) His footwork just seems off, and he plays on his heels.

@@bohansenboh Until this summer they were one of the as stingiest defenses in MLS, and were undefeated at home for 25 straight games. I believe a couple of factors are contributing to their current problems. One is that they were switched to Western Conference for a season to make room for Charlotte, meaning that they are traveling huge distances for most matches away, and are frequently jet-lagged. The other is that, since taking up their new home in Geodis Park, I believe there has been pressure from above for them to play a more attacking game to draw in fans. The result has been three losses at home since May 1st. It's clearly not working. But yes--Joe Willis needs to step up his game.
