Maybe they should be a bit more ‘intimidated by the big teams’. They might setup showing a wee bit more respect to dangerous oppositions and not concede 60 🥴

Mate we have been urging the boks to play the running game and now look how good they can be . Our backline has been starved of service due to the kicking game we have been playing so it was refreshing to see us run the ball more .

Kurt Lee Arendse absolutely superstar. A monster beast. From Italy.

It seems like a small detail to point out, but the pass accuracy from Willie le Roux is pinpoint. Say what you want about his defense, but the Springboks do not score a single backline try without Le Roux's influence and generally off the back off a very well waited pass from the maestro.

Le Roux is The Man. That backline fizzes when he's on the pitch. That box kick / maul rubbish belongs to a different era. Fast, attacking back play is where it's at. And when the Boks unshackle their wide players they cut everyone to pieces. And it invariably pivots around le Roux. Fabulous rugby player. From an Ireland fan.

Le Roux is a class player he marshalls that defence so well and on top of that he is a smart Rugby player because all backline attacks go through him he is class.

I'm not sure I agree.. everyone has flaws it seems like AM is the one guy who has supreme defensive skills/ ability .. So WLR defensive prowess isn't actually bad. As mentioned his martial lingerie ability seems spot on. Perhaps he doesn't have the natural ability as say an Am. But he's right up there with the best.

4:58 - this pass should be put in a museum.

Libbok made a great impact of the bench, glad we finally won and showed some running rugby. Italy has a great player in their 15.

Got Mpimpi, Arendse and Moodie as backups - prob the best cover we’ve ever had in the wing positions 💪🏽

Le Roux top performance and the key was the moment in which Etzebeth enters in the game! Super attitude from him and changed all. Italy improved a lot in building the play, first half very impressive. Springboks could give a lot of emotions during next World Cup!

Good game by both teams. The shot of Kolbe in the air with a flying bird in the same shot was quite artistic on the cameraman's part.

I was in Genoa to see the match live, the pigeons were there in the field all the time. They just sat on the grass pecking up the seeds and when the action approached them, the whole flock would just lift off and fly away a few meters to another section of the field where they had enough peace and quiet to continue feeding on the grass seeds. The grass keeper in Genoa must have a tough job.

Boks shaping well for the world cup. Physical play is a class above the rest. If they can get their back play firing like this and get consistency they will be tough to beat.

As someone who never watches rugby, I have always wondered why the SA jersey has three little web ellis cups on the sleeve, but Ireland doesn't?!? Do you know why? Italy are a very different team these days. Playing amazingly well against the big hitters👍🏻

Great game from both sides. The better team won but you can't take away from how improved the Italian side is. They've come a long way and I'm looking forward to them continuously getting better and putting the top 10 teams on notice.

The main thing is they've definitely improved and can still be a threat come the next World Cup and Six Nations. All they need to do is stay focused and not be disheartened by such a loss. Crazy to think that the boks ran Ireland and France close while firing on half cylinders. They have the talent and skills to beat any team in the world, but they need the consistency to actually do that. Consistency is what they need more than anything else. If they can recreate what they did in this match in every match, they will win the world cup.
