Sorry GB! I will miss you!! Good luck in DIV 1A next year. Please make top 2 and return to the elite again! We Norwegians are very lucky that you played a below average game, and that we finally stepped up after many poor efforts. I am very greatful that Norway survived, and that we will have a new opportunity next season. I haven't slept properly in days, I've had nightmares about this game, but now I can finally rest 😂😂

Actually Norway has improved a lot in past few years and they had some excellent performances this year , that’s for sure ! So I think the team just beginning to reap the fruits of their hard labour ❤❤

@@carlislebailey8902 Norway has had up's and down's. 2010-2014 is probably our best time period. 2011 is our most impressive team result, 2012 has probably been the most fun year (especially watching Norway scoring a lot of goals). 2018 and after we have wasted important seasons. Now days we are building a new generation. I hope my countrymen can succeed that change. It's not gonna be easy after Zuccarello and Thoresen retires, but I hope we can see further improvements soon.

Deserved win for Norway besides some shaky questionable defense play at times Norway owned the game. 43 shots says it all.

Hmm 🤔 I mean the Scots probably could lay claim to really inventing it. As they were playing a version of bandy (created by the English) on forms of skates on frozen land in the late 1600’s And then the British brought over the game to North America. I’ll give you Canadians made it a “sport” but as with most sports the British actually invented it - played against locals around the empire and then the locals got better and now regularly thrash the Brits 😂🤣

If GB was good enough to survive they would have beaten Norway they werent even close Norway had soo many clear cut scoring chances they could have won by atleast 8 goals. Here is a tip for GB if you want to be successful cut down on northamerican import players both on your national team and domestic league that will only give short term success in the longrun your program will suffer you need to give young britishborn talented players a chance to develop and you dont do that by giving northamericans british passports it will only comeback to bite you.

In a way yes I agree. They have potensial. I like how they play, and the fans make me giggle. They might not bring a lot of elite hockey skills in comparison to other nations, but they bring a lot of entertainment, and I enjoy watching them play even though I'm not British. GB hockey is a lot of banter and I always welcome it. You gotta give credit where credit is due. Since 2017 British hockey has come a long way, and I belive they can continue to grow. I do agree with David Neraas on one thing though. They gotta stop copying from North American Hockey. Reduce imports and avoid a dumb league format. Some or few players changing citizenship is ok (Brett Perlini for example is a cool player), but they have way too many North Americans in their league (EIHL), and British players are stuck in the background with less game time. I would also get rid of a locked league, bring back relegation and give more teams a chance to advance and develop. It's clearly more entertaining, and the British people are used to that tradition from football anyways.

@@FreddieBear1 they may be more or less at the same level as japan, italy and other such teams. they seem to be in and out of the elite group depending on the year. Kazakshtan though has established itself it seems in the elite group, yes they usually end up in the last places but they seem to participate regularly in championships. poland just arrived it seems, dont know much about their hockey, some people say that they played well some years ago. but i have not seen poland much in these championships. italy got pushed out. dont know of france will stay. maybe japan and italy will return next time around
