We need a goal scorer. Their 9 was gifted two chances and took them both. Ours took none of his . Personally, if we have a good offer for Bird, I’d take it to fund a better striker on loan.

We’ll be fine. This was Wigan’s cup final and we just weren’t quite sharp enough. Still on the balance of play should’ve won this. Even the referee was rusty missing the assault in the box because for the first corner he was ball watching.

Did I mention! me and my 3 kids were denied entry at the doors of PridePark stadium to that FOZZY Testimonial game 🤷🏻‍♂️ Stoke are my kids local team these days unfortunately, But as I did NOT realise I would need my 4 & 5 year old kids passports or birth certificates for us all to actually gain entry into Pridepark stadium that day, apparently due to health&safety reasons? silly me! 🤦🏻‍♂️ My bad kids! Now Let’s all walk back outside in the pouring down rain, all the way back to the car, which we had paid £5 to park in the pouring down rain, hold on! Did I mention is was absolutely pissing it down that day 😆. No seriously though! This all actually happened! I ended up Spending £60 in the soft play centre instead! Mainly to stop my kids from crying so much as we all were very excited for that game in particular! Thanks for that day DCFC! Big help you bloody were👍 A club I have followed with nothing but love & support for the last 30yrs of my life!! I don’t tend to count the first 5yrs as I can’t really remember much! I would have had no choice though, as all my fam where already rams mad! My kids mums fam, Stoke&Vale, without pressuring my kids to much, I was hoping at least 1 of my 3 would be a Ram?! I very much doubt any will be now, after that awful 1st experience at my beloved Dcfc 😫 I believe I was destined to follow DCFC, but I don’t feel this for my kids now after the palaver that day! I even tried + really wanted to play for the mighty Rams too, but ultimately, I wasn’t good enough, which I am honestly not bitter about these days! Honest! 😂 I am still bitter about that FOZZY testimonial game which was 3 weeks back now 😆 And we won 3-0 🤦🏻‍♂️ which I can honestly say, I was absolutely fuming when I seen that we had won 3-0, which was also a first for me too! + Craig Bryson played which I was not even aware of until after the game? 🤷🏻‍♂️ what’s all that about DCFC? Can't get out of this league without more quality at both ends.

When Fozzy is you’re main threat you know you’re in deep S. Decent performance going forward but we need 2 potent strikers and the defence was woeful. Wigan took their chances and fair play to them for that. The next 4 games should be all winnable.

Derby deserved the win on chances created but it highlights that we need someone other than Collins who’s there at the right time….hoping Washington comes good and it’d be nice if smith from sheff weds arrives , he’s bagged 20 odd goals in last 2 seasons each time….onwards n upwards….cmon you rams 🐏

We played some amazing football but we need a more clinical striker and the defence needs to tighten up a bit

Wtf was that back passing about. It was like he tried to throw the game .

Fluked a goal against the run of play. Signed 7 defenders and they walk through our back line at will. Wigan were comfortable really. For the effect Collins had you may as well play Fozzy through the middle as his crosses are not good enough. Where was Brown? Subs too late to do anything and that's bad management as at 1v1 we may have pinched it. Warne does anyone in your team offer an objective opinion?

Shocking defending and particularly for the 2nd goal, what was Cashin doing? Trying to back in and ended up getting out muscled... Not good enough and Collins is a load of old rubbish! Best game I've seen Fozzy play for derby, scored a goal and was involved in everything going forward.

Gifting those goals was hard to watch. There are some positives in our play though, but like most have said we need attacking reinforcements desperately.

Why not bring in players like Axel Tuanzebe and Luciano Vietto? They are great examples of good free players in the market. The team needs a good defender and a great striker.

The biggest club in the east-midlands needs to be more clinical.

As much as people are saying it was a poor performance, we were better than them, conceaded 2 underserved goals against the run of play due to individual errors. Wildsmith made 1 save all game, their gk and defenders made crucial stops, if Fozzy put that shot a yard to the right of their gk at 1-1 it would have been 2-1 to us

Did you go or watch these highlights? Wigan were comfortable at 1v0 and we fluked a goal. Warne made no changes until we were 2v1 down and didn't give enough time for changes to have effect. If he doesn't want to play the bench why are they on our pay roll? The players don't look coached and quality in the final 3rd was lacking. Warne has long been sussed and we will not bet top sides.

Far to wide for me too open, centre half’s getting too wide leaving massive gaps and Bradley left on his own. Midfield to far apart from each other didn’t look smooth yesterday looked all,over the place.

Your highlights are a bit of a joke to be honest. You made our first goal out to be the first chance we had on the highlights. There was about 3 guilt edged/point blank chances to score before that. UTFT!

Gotta be honest, I don't actually care what style of football we play, what the formation is or whet the tactics are, just bloody win matches and let's gets out of this shite division! the signings so far have been underwhelming, that Hunt fella can cross a ball but apart from that the rest looked like a bunch of old plodders. Personally I'd give Warne 10 league games and if we are not in the top 6 then it would be 'bye bye' for me. It's all well good being a bit quirky and a bit of a joker but if he's not getting results at home to a team that has just been relegated then something's not right.

@@carlt9265 Yes and your not well informed Derby have been under embargo for 2.5 years we can now only spend £250,000 on a player after some relaxation but that can't sign anyone decent at this level and we've had to operate I'll reiterate for 2 years without spending a fee.

We’ll be ok, team needs to gel a bit with this style of play, they played a decent side that’s well established, on another day we’d have won this comfortably. Wigan’s only 3 (admittedly guilt edged) chances came from our schoolboy mistakes. They were celebrating like they’d won the champions league, when we scored it was get the ball back to the centre circle and get on with it. I know which team will finish higher this season!

Obviously the season is not one game, but honestly weren’t you disappointed to see how lacking we were in the 2nd half. We were slow and predictable with lots of stray passes and bad mistakes. If that’s the team at their freshest then it’s not looking good.

@@chasfleming But we haven't even completed all the signings yet (window closes in September), the back line hasn't played with each other in a professional game before hence the mistakes and NML isn't a striker but due to wanting two up front and Washington recovering from a knock he was forced to play him there but we now have Waghorn to occupy that position and I imagine a loaned in striker.

Get warne out man, his football is atrocious his game plan is go forward cross it in and see if collins can get his head on it which he wont beacuse he isnt a good player. SIGNINGS NEEDED NOW

It was lucky Wigan missed the 2nd one-on-one! Very poor result and a very poor outcome to the afternoon. Let’s hope for something closer to top 6 standard very shortly,
