Shoaib Bashir equalled the most expensive over in the history of English first class cricket while on loan to Worcestershire for the Vitality County Championship encounter with Surrey at ‘Visit Worcestershire New Road.’
The England spinner conceded 38 runs including five successive sixes to Dan Lawrence.
Lawrence cleared the boundary with the first five deliveries of the over between long off and wide long on.
It equalled the 38 struck by Freddie Flintoff off Alex Tudor for Lancashire against Surrey in a Championship match at Old Trafford in 1998.

Was at the match today. Great to watch.
Please sort out the sound quality. Almost unlistenable in parts.
Shame we weren't shown the whole over which began with 5 sixes. I've read that the 6th delivery was wide - wish we'd seen it.
Definately needs the Audio looking at. Might require a reupload.
I know the club has really big financial problems due to the ground flooding, but the camera work looks like someone is filming it with a smartphone from the stands!

It went for 4 down the leg side plus one extra for the wide.The extra ball for the wides,was then a no ball,which Lawrence took a single and the Worrell blocked the extra ball..Over cost 38 but Lawrence scored 5 sixes and a single...31
