Our coaches focus to much on tucking in and hoofing the ball up playing for second balls when we have a whole bunch of midfielders capable of playing a passing game Amount of times we hoof the ball up to nothingness when we have like at least 2 short passing options to progress the ball

that looked like a strong confident and well worked victory by Scotland, the overlap to the header was brilliant, a wee bit of 'finishers anxiety' but everything else looks ok from that performance!

Steven O'Donnell? He's scored a total peach in exactly the same move at Thistle v Dundee United. He had more confidence that day. SOD is a tremendous player and gets unfairly picked upon. I am not sure he'd be my first pick though even though he's worthy of the jersey.

Great win for the last. Very lucky not to concede the penalty in the second half though. It could have been two penalties! He put his arm across the guy's neck to stop him jumping and the ball him on the arm!

If you look at the incident again you can see that it's actually the attacker who lifts O'Donnells arm up as he goes up for the ball and again the ball only hits his arm as the attackers arm has lifted it up.

By the rules, putting the hand or forearm on the middle of the chest is a "natural position" as the players have to fight for a bit of space for the sake of safety. (Otherwise there would be 5-10 concussions per game.) It was just incidental that his arm was pushed up high by the striker. And if we want to called niggling accident touches, the striker earns a yellow for putting his hand on the defender's face.

Correct decision for the Scotland penalty but a 2nd yellow for Hinteregger would have been harsh. We were lucky not to concede a penalty with the O'Donnell incident though. This team continue to create good chances but clearly there's still work to be done on the finishing - Dykes just smacked that penalty and hoped for the best. Having said that it was a fairly accomplished performance and it feels as though we were due a little luck. Maybe going forward this result will bring that confidence and result in improved finishing. Massive victory but we have to follow up with wins in all 3 of the upcoming games; we cannot be going into the final game against Denmark needing points.

The situation on 3:45 is also defenitly a penalty i mean look at o donnells hand ... he doent even try to get to the ball he just fouls. Could also be counted as assault and red card.

From the angle the referee was watching the replay, two hands on the shoulders AND the shirts was being tugged. And the way Adams falls cannot be faked/flopped. He falls exactly like he is being yanked hard the whole way. No ambiguity there at all.

As a Scotsman can I just say.. this is absolutely embarrassing. Stevie Clarke hasn't got a clue. Hopeless

It’s embarrassing that the country got one of it’s biggest away wins in years? (within 90 minutes) the team played superb, I’m not Steve Clarke’s biggest fan nor do I like his style of football but if he gets results like this then will remain in the job
