Probably an indicator that change is needed for the sake of the tournament that there was absolutely no sound from the crowd when Shogun Barbarians scored.... too many invitational teams that are clearly overpowered in comparison to the local teams this year.. Reminded me of the time when the Glasgow Warriors had a team in in a few years ago...
The Greenyards has been butchered, the plastic pitch is a disgrace and the actual 7s were a gimmicky farce with far far too many Makey Uppy 'Invitational' teams. Whatever it was it wasn't the Melrose 7s. Horrible and sad.
