Definitely smarter
if the due dates is not a fixed date for all the rows, then ? if every case number had a different due date in column C then what would be the formula ?
is it applicable to google sheets too?
Question. So if I put today's date in 1-6-2023 will the sheet automatically turn that text red on 1-11-2023 because it's been five days?
Hey, I have 2 colums. Colum C is the date of the test i did. Colum D is the due date in 3 months time. How do i create rules so within from day test was done to 1 month away from due date the colum is green. 1 month to 1 day before due date it is yellow then the date the new test is due and beyond it is red? Colum D is set up as =EDATE(C2,3) So I only ever need to input the new date i've done a test.
Thanks for this video! Ok, so more questions for you... I'm familiar with the today() function by adding or subtracting days from today, but what I'd like to know is how to show expiring dates in the future (e.g. 3 months, 2 years and so on)? Also, how would I apply that to multiple, non-consecutive columns in a worksheet? I've tried using absolute, such as $B$4, but when I go to apply that to multiple columns like I described above, it keeps using that cell's specific date and not the date of the other cells I want it to effect. And last question (promise!): is there a way to have some kind of notification such as a pop-up window when a certain date has expired, or is expiring very soon (aside from just colors)?

I don’t believe there is a way other than through VBA he would be able to create a pop up. You can however use conditional formatting based on the values in another cell. I have a video on that as well. Not 100% sure I understand your question.

@@whyworksmarternotharder Hi. I guess I was making the question more confusing than it needed to be, sorry. The closest formula I could find that I 'think' I was using is the following: =AND($B2>=TODAY()+60, $B2
