I don’t play this game, but I love watching replays of it, and the Kleber is my favorite ship to watch. I just love the ambush style of play it offers, especially with flamu at the helm.

Ι completely agree about the effect carriers have on the game. It stops being a game about smart plays, positioning and tactics (which is the reason I bother to play it in the first place) and simply becomes a mindless arcade shooter with ships (which is definitely NOT what I want to play) ... It's really sad.

Carriers couldve been done well but of course wg fucks it up with stupid shit like slingshot mechanics and giving dds weak aa, and insta spotting for the team even though the planes would need to get in range of other ships to be able to relay info like that tbh

I suggest you to keep your glasses when staying hours in front of your screens. I stayed 5 years without glasses after my laser surgery, all good but now my vision dropped a bit, probably due to eyestrain after long sessions. Back to glasses -_-'

Bit hard to use glasses when your vision is pretty clear though, no? I had laser on my eyes about 9 months ago, not really sure what kind of glasses I could need/use with my (current) fine eyesight.

Blue-light glasses, or some yellow models JCVD style. Oof :D Usually the eyes are more sensible to brightness, after a laser operation, even on the long term. Though I'm not a doc, there are some light glasses for gamerz like us.

Lasering is seldom perfect; often you still need a token pair of glasses to get you there. In that case the blue & UV block is always a good idea.

I agree, once in a while when you get to experience team play in wows you actually get a bit confused as to why things are aligning. Its sad and should be the other way around but here we are.

Noob question here What’s the keybind by default to draw attention to a sector? since I started recently I’ve tried using control to bring up to mouse and can us Manuel secondary’s this way but I still can’t draw attention to a sector via clicking it on the map

Holding down CTRL and then double-clicking on the sector you wish to bring attention to is the default key-binding.

Had few T8 CV x4 games lately, I can't understand why WG thinks this is enjoyable to play.. it removes any strategy plays, negates just about all ships traits... and to add to the frustration when playing T6 ship you are completely defenseless...

Maybe make Carriers only spot for their team on the map, without rendering the spotted ships in game. And they should have longer "build new aircraft" times

Also: their concealment should be terrible. Like, the carrier should be visible as if it was in a thunderstorm. You get within its concealment and you can visual spot, but outside of concealment they should be semi spotted.

Don't try to think of a way to balance carriers. It's impossible. It's the very nature of their gameplay (player controlled aircraft) that goes against every other aspect of this game-stealth, flanking, ambuses, use of the terrain, counterplay. The only solution would be to just remove the carriers from the game completely but that's not gonna happen sadly and this is 1000% the playerbases fault, not wargamings.

I would love to know your build as I love my kleber but my build is far different.

I remember coming from a long time of working and not having time to play ships, so i generally didn't watch what's going in the game, this fucking thing sailed at me from behind an island while i was aware of him i was bow in so i was like its a dd ill just eat a torp or two, 50knots later and about 20 citas he did to me i just left the game and didnt play for two weeks xD point being read your patch notes

Two reasons. He has a CC account there with all the ships that are released. And he is anonymous there. Simply speaking there is a lot less focus fire and streamsniping. He does play on EU too, as test ships still get credited to his main account, and the focus fire has slackened a bit, maybe because he is less obvious on EU now. Still it is quite interesting to see the difference in play he has to adopt on EU.

WG couldnt balance a board flat against the ground.

SO PERFECT!* And more still, something about a "creeping darkness" i.e. the shadows of incoming aircraft! Just try and take ANY T6 BB into a random these days, even if the team wins, you will lose, sadly....

I find it very interesting that WG are hellbent on having one class in the game that can damage you and ruin your experience without exposing itself. Both carriers and artillery are bad for gameplay and should never have been implemented.

Teamplay is something you get in divisions or if a few good players are in the same team. Sad story for a multiplayer game.

I haven't played seriously since July 2019 and people are still talking about CVs?? Fucking unbelievable.

I agree. CV's may add some realism and complexity to the game but they have become way too prevalent and dominant, even in high tier games. In low tier games it is not uncommon now to see 3 CV's on each side, and everyone just basically treats them like the weather, nothing anyone can do but bear it. No one has fun, except maybe the CV drivers.

3:00 Too True "Shocked when actual team play occurs" But i think that's because of how MM works. Trying to always make you carry to some extent. MM Figures out who can team play, and spreads us thin amongst those who cant. Hence the shock when someone actually plays for the team instead of themselves.

Ok. How to counterplay something so stupidly fast with useful artillery and torps like kleber? Especially if it know how to play. Dds are ruining the game for me more than aircraft carriers. But i don't think that they will be nerfed to the bottom of balance.

Михаил Анфимов if your using BB try taking priority target, if one DD is targeting you with his main guns you’ll see him targeting you as a 1, when he switches to torps it’ll drop to 0, and when he’s done launching torps and locks back on you with main guns it’ll got back up to one. But mainly you don’t wanna head in a straight line for to long.

Great battle of course, but thats the problem with warships these days. CV main had to go by the toilet and forget to click the button, so good DD player can shine. CV appears and your Kleber, Shima or whatnot is at planes mercy until you fucking die. Zero real counterplay= zero fun.

Have to disagree with you Flamu (at the risk of being called a retard). I think CV's are sooo easy to play around and I'm a DD main. But radar on the other hand, I just can not play around it. If there's a radar ship close to you, you're dead. A DD's primary defense is it's smoke, take that away and you're a cruiser with smaller guns and less health. With a CV you can just smoke up and turn on your AA. And I find that DD AA DOES to a little bit against even T10 CV's. Plus CV's can't spot you from 10-12km like radar can. I suppose if you're in a FR DD CV's would be more of a problem since you're always spotted anyway, radar doesn't matter much. I have yet to go up FR DD's but I will soon. But other than the French, I really don't notice CV's in a match, but I have had dozens maybe even hundreds of DD games ruined by radar. However this is just my opinion.

I would love to see rocket planes go away.. Then make it so your only spotted by carriers on the minimap and not visually,, also not spotting torpedos.. Seriously carriers are most annyoing as soon as your a DD.. I know back in the day carriers spotted and crosstorped dds alot but it wasnt as bad as now.. Mostly its just 1 noob carrier can still ruin any dds round,, even if its by accident.. Ive been spotted many times purely by accident,, either when hes about to strike someone behind me or god knows what reasons.. Not even sure carriers still spot torps since I havent played them or care to watch it.. Anyway I certainly agree carriers are really annyoing now with their infinite non stop attacks,, speccialy at the start of the game without any delay there are rockets.. Basicly if you try to stay near allied AA you better hope you dont get pussy teams.. Ive been using anti air on my american dds but ofcourse then suddenly there are barely any carriers!! At least give me the choice to always have a carrier ingame then,, but NO its a geuss.. AA builds without carrier,, Stealth build with cyclones there is way to much stuff handicapping your build.. The game is one big pile of RNG,.. Also getting the bad carrier on your team is really frustrating its like playing chess where you lost the queen early on.. But besides dds,, battleship gameplay is also ruined by really broken armors,, was shooting a slightly angled Republiq in my Missouri and it was shatters on the torpedo belt, bounces and overpens,, and the actual pens did 1k too.. BB AP does jack shit but then I play Alaska im wrecking everything,, even stuff like minotaurs AP actually damages shit it hits

he even said at the start of the video exactly what counters this thing. Ships with high shell velocity. He faced two of those said counters but outplayed them by not doing stupid shit. The ship didn't win, the player did. Imagine if the stalin he rushed was any of the torp armed cruisers in the game, he'd be dead as hell and lucky to get a trade if their hp was low enough.

I would much rather watch you play without the music.

Its a Boring gun boat. No thrill if there is no cv in match.

It's so easy to counterplay carriers. Just stay together with your teammates and switch off aa on dds and avoid their attention. Current carriers are boring and can only be effective in teamplay or against single targets. I have 2 of 3 top tier carriers and and I know what I'm talking about) Too much randomness and overwhelming effectiveness against single targets make carriers toxic to both sides.

As a destroyer, you shouldn't have to always be within six kilometers of the nearest cruiser to be effective. Destroyer gameplay often requires a lone-wolf playstyle. And even then, massed AA doesn't always work and how enjoyable of an experience is it for that destroyer player to just follow a Worcester around all match?

carrier is just plain stupid. all mechanics like concealment and tactics like flanking for crossfire get throw away out of the window if there's a cv in the game. just take a look at KoTS. once they remove the CV, the game became fun to watch again. tactics like yolo for dd, ambush and flanking became viable tactics again. back when cv was in the tournament it was boring asf.
