Highlander's Farewell clawhammer banjo

This is a tune from fiddler Emmett Lundy. I'm playing it on a cello banjo made for me by my friend Steve Owens.

Love your Cello banjo. It sure has a pretty rim. I gave my daughter in law a Yosco cello banjo for Christmas. Love the tone of yours.

That's the thing about banjo music: the majority of the tumes come from fiddle melodies of the British isles, yet it's played on an African instrument (well, a modified African instrument that was developed in North America). So it's a beautiful blend of two very different traditions
