I located this Highland Park Lapidary automatic cabochon making machine in Tucson, Arizona. It was manufactured in Hawthorne, California, dating back to the 1970's. It has incredible engineering and is very easy to operate. I added a water source to keep the abrasive wheel wet, as it did not come with one. This machine comes with a set of cabochon templates, which can be interchanged, to create the desired cabochon size and shape. The counterbalance keeps the right amount of pressure on the cabochon being made and the abrasive forming wheel. I hope you enjoy watching my video of this amazing machine!
